Scout prospects, balance potential against need, follow the mock boards that land during the season, and find the picks that become the core of a decade-long run. TRADE & FREE AGENCY Deal players and picks with a market that values them honestly — and will tell you no. Chase free agents, manage a hard salary cap, and structure contracts with year-by-year guarantees, no-trade clauses, restructures, and franchise tags. BUILD THE ROSTER Set depth charts, manage practice squads and injured reserve, re-sign your stars before they walk, and cut what is not working. Dead cap follows you either way. COACH & SCHEME Hire coordinators, choose offensive and defensive schemes, and build a roster that fits how you want to play. Make a weekly game plan around an opponent's strengths and weaknesses, or stay balanced and trust your talent. SIM & WATCH Run the season week to week. Watch games unfold through a live stat view at the speed you choose, then react to injuries, upsets, and the standings race. KNOW EVERY NUMBER Track 69 stats for every player across all 15 positions — line play and coverage included, not just the ones that make highlights. Follow league leaderboards, team rankings, player game logs, season and career history, and a record book that remembers who did it first. NO SMOKE AND MIRRORS Every system is documented inside the game. A searchable field guide covers 36 topics across ratings, contracts and the cap, coaches, schemes, the market, and the roster and draft — plus a stat key that defines every column on every table, including exactly what each rate is divided by. When a number moves, you can look up why instead of guessing. MAKE IT YOUR LEAGUE Choose Easy, Medium, Hard, or Custom, then tune injuries, scouting accuracy, player moods, season goals and more on their own. Your contract model is set when you create the save and locked in for its life, so the deals already on your books stay honest. Easy keeps the paperwork simple and the market forgiving. Hard hands you guarantees to negotiate, agents with leverage, and stars who will actually sit out when they outplay the deal you gave them.
