Family Ready helps you build a calm, organized emergency plan for the people who depend on you — before a crisis ever happens.
At its heart is a free, offline Emergency Card: your first contact, medications, allergies, and conditions, always available even without signal. When it matters most, Emergency Mode brings up a high-contrast, offline screen with one-tap calling to your trusted contacts, so critical information is never buried in a search.
Beyond the basics, Family Ready guides you through a full seven-section family plan covering contacts, health, documents, money and insurance, home and pets, care instructions, and digital life and wishes. Work through it at your own pace, section by section, with plain-language prompts instead of legal jargon.
When you're ready to involve others, selective sharing lets you grant trusted family members or caregivers access to specific sections only — you stay in control of what's visible. Encrypted backups with a separate recovery code mean your plan can be restored on any device, and a home-screen widget keeps you aware of your readiness status at a glance.
Family Ready Plus adds household collaboration, guided reviews, important-date reminders, access drills, and additional export packs — helpful for families coordinating care across multiple people. Core planning, the Emergency Card, and offline access remain free.
