Updated verse layout to address clipped text, including the reported Genesis 18:13 issue. Improved wrapping for long verses and larger text sizes. Added checks that reject blank, duplicate, out-of-order or missing NKJV verse responses. Verified that the mobile and server catalogs match all 66 books and 1,189 chapters. Bible sharing Share individual selected verses or passages. Include Scripture text, translation attribution and a reader link. Improved selection clearing when changing passages. Prepared native passage-link handling, with a web-reader fallback. Bible read-aloud Longer passages use sequential audio sections to avoid stopping early. Playback requires an intentional resume after an interruption. Chat and direct messages More predictable room entry at the newest messages. Chat and community Added nested room and direct-message threads in the mobile app, then brought nested threads to the website with paging, reactions, manual navigation, and access checks. Made sent message requests visible in Chat while they await a response. Fixed room unread-count failures caused by older IDs, added error recovery, and checked a live member’s badge state. Added automated checks for chat date separators and DM unread dividers, with a scheduled regression check. Tested member-facing chat loading errors against live database failures and revoked access, so raw database errors are less likely to reach members. Fixed the website’s New Message button clearance and added a positioning check. Allowed inactive members to view and appear in member profiles while retaining privacy filters. Centralized member-only page access checks and fixed destructive confirmation dialogs on web. Kept the first-launch guest welcome from appearing for signed-in members. Bible and devotionals Corrected mislabeled Bible content so NKJV requests return genuine NKJV passages, and cleared affected cached text. Made the web Bible reader follow URL and browser-history changes. Added mobile passage sharing with a verse preview and reader link. Showed published Scripture items in the devotional library and saved views. Separated saved devotional bookmarks by signed-in member on shared devices, with persistence regression checks. Confirmed ordinary Bible audio synthesis after quota renewal; physical-phone playback was not confirmed. Notifications and updates Connected account-owned Events and Announcements preferences to Expo and OneSignal push delivery, and verified authenticated saves and cross-device restoration. Added the optional App Store/Google Play update popup, its admin release-version settings, store links, and 24-hour reminder behavior. It is not automatically enabled for members; an available store version must be announced. Recorded your decision to defer installed-device verification of notification settings and unread badges. Reliability and web maintenance Added external monitoring for missed daily safety checks, requiring verified check and alert completion before the heartbeat. Fixed remaining Expo-web scroll-container style issues. Added scoped safeguards and regression checks for website API fetches during type checking.

Version 1.0.11 — Fixes and Improvements Chat Improved message sending, error recovery, and retry handling. Reduced duplicate messages after connection issues, fixed competing scroll behavior, and improved Jump to Most Recent. Incoming messages no longer interrupt members reading older conversations. Notifications Supported notification taps now open the relevant conversation or post more reliably. Added better startup handling and prevented duplicate alerts from repeatedly opening the same screen. Clear notices now appear for deleted or unavailable content. Post Comments Improved comment loading and sending, with clearer errors and retry options. Unsent comments are preserved if sending fails, and duplicate comments during connection recovery have been reduced. Status messages now clarify when comments are unavailable or awaiting approval. Profile Editing Fixed an error when dragging and pinching photos during cropping. Profile edits and selected photos are now preserved if a refresh fails, with clearer loading and recovery states. Saving is prevented when profile information is unavailable. Bible Audio Improved playback cancellation, cleanup, and handling when switching passages or leaving the player. Added safer handling of delayed responses and playback errors. Navigation & Support Projects has been removed from the bottom navigation (still available from the home page). App version and update details are now shown to help with troubleshooting. These updates improve reliability across chat, comments, notifications, profiles, and audio.

Replies to community posts: Continue conversations directly beneath posts without changing the feed order. Improved posting: Clearer success and error messages, better draft recovery and protection against duplicate submissions. Weekly invite task: A simple “Invite one person” checklist on Home and Projects, with an optional note and a fresh start each week. Seasonal programming: Find upcoming fall and Christmas programming, This Week on TGP, and the photo-drive shortcut. Chat scrolling improvements: Better protection against unexpected jumps while reading older messages.

Community Projects: Discover current volunteer and service opportunities in the Projects section. Member of the Month: Updated community spotlight highlighting a featured member each month. Improved chat navigation: Community chats now remember your reading position when you reopen a room. Unread-message controls: Dismiss the jump-to-unread indicator or turn it off in notification settings. Layout improvements: Better spacing, content sizing, and navigation on larger screens. Security improvements: Strengthened account-registration safeguards and updated dependencies.

A "jump to unread" arrow in chat (dismissible, with an on/off switch in Settings), and full-screen photo viewing in Posts. Fixed: more reliable push notifications on iPhone and Android, chat rooms open right at the newest message without extra scrolling or snapping back, and fixes to the Pending Activation banner and the Quote of the Week answer sheet.
