Discern IQ

Read Between the Lines

Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Screenshot a dating text, negotiation, or hard chat. Get a clarity read, what to notice, and what to ask next—then practice matching the coach. Discern IQ helps you get better at reading conversations—dating texts, negotiations, and other hard chats—by practicing your judgment against a coach. Screenshot the chat. Share it into Discern IQ (or import from Photos). On-device OCR reads the text. You get a clear 1–10 clarity read, what to notice, and next questions to ask—not a verdict about a person. TWO WAYS TO USE IT • Quick read — coach notes on how clear vs carefully worded the message feels, plus cues and follow-up questions. • Practice — rate the excerpt yourself first (1–10), then compare with the coach. Track exact matches, close calls (±1), and your average miss so your judgment improves over time. BUILT FOR LEARNING, NOT ACCUSATIONS Discern IQ is a conversation-IQ trainer. It is not a lie detector, is not accurate about any specific person, and must not be used to make decisions about real people. Reads can be wrong. A clear disclaimer appears in onboarding, on every result, and in Settings. PRIVACY-MINDED BY DESIGN • Text is extracted on your device • Only the derived text is sent for analysis (screenshots stay local in v1) • Analysis history is stored on your device • Sign-in with Apple or Google is optional—you can use the app without an account Share a chat. Sharpen your read. Ask better next questions.
