The reasoning gets lost because there's nowhere quick to put it.
Marqo is a decision log for client work. It's a focused place to record what changed and why, tied to a project and organized so it's easy to review later.
WHAT CHANGED, WHY IT CHANGED, WHAT IT AFFECTS
Every decision has three fields:
- What changed: a short, clear description of the decision
- Why: the reasoning behind it, captured at the moment it's made
- Affects (optional): budget, timeline, or scope it touches
Marqo doesn't track status, assignees or priority. It keeps a running record of what happened and why.
SEND A CLIENT-READY LOG IN ONE TAP
When a phase of work is done, export any project as a standalone, read-only log formatted as a professional handoff. Your client opens it in any browser without signing in, and because it's a file, it never expires. The client sees the project, every decision by month, what changed, why, and when. On iPhone it opens the standard share sheet, so it goes straight to Mail, Messages, AirDrop, or Files.

WHY I BUILT IT
In every kind of client work I've done, freelance and in-house, I watched the same thing happen again and again, to me, to my teams, and to people I worked with. A decision got made for a good reason, and a few weeks later nobody could say what the reason was. The tools we used held the what and never the why. So I built the one that does.

Both plans start with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Marqo Monthly: $12.99/month. Marqo Annual: $129.99/year. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings.

Ratings & Reviews

Moving to a new screen with VoiceOver or a keyboard now takes you to its heading, and VoiceOver reads each delete confirmation's question.
With Reduce Motion on, "Logged." now stays on screen after you save.
Line breaks you type now stay where you put them, in the app and in the client log.
The About screen describes exactly what the app sends when it checks your subscription, and tells you if that check didn't go through.
Delete all data now also clears the backup and export files Marqo saved.
If the App Store can't be reached, the subscription screen offers Try again. And if iOS clears Marqo's storage, the welcome screen no longer comes back.
"Log a decision" is now "New decision", and the Affects field says what it's for: price, timeline, or scope.
"Share" is now "Send to client", and "Preview" is now "Client view", where you can check what your client will see and send it from there.
