• DerDieDas now supports iPhone Duo and iPad, with layouts made for each. • The app now follows your device's language — English, Spanish (Spain and Mexico), French, Italian and Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal). The interface and the four-case example translations follow along. • Ask Siri for any noun's article — "Which article does Haus take in DerDieDas?" — and the result comes back right in Siri. Tap it to open the full entry. • Article lookup and noun search are available as Shortcuts actions too, ready to drop into your own automations. • Spotlight now indexes your recent lookups and everyday nouns, so a lookup can start right from system search. • Paste straight into the search field.

Meanings, translations and plurals. • Meanings: every noun now shows its dictionary definitions from Wiktionary, each with an English translation, and links out to the full entry. • English translations for the four-case examples, so you can check that you read the German correctly. • Singular and plural side by side: look up "Haus" and you also get "die Häuser" — look up a plural and you get the singular back. Tap either form to jump straight to it. • Sharper article rules: new hints for nouns ending in -in, -nis, -ma and -ium, and the unreliable -er/-el/-en hint is gone. Rules now say "almost always" where German means it. • The interface is now fully in English, and there's a new app icon. Definitions are bundled and work offline. Sentences and translations are produced on your device — nothing you look up leaves your iPhone.
