NotaryLog is a digital notary journal for U.S. notaries, mobile notaries and notary signing agents, and with Business it runs the rest of the signing work too: jobs, invoices, mileage and expenses, all on your iPhone with no web account.
FAST NOTARIAL ACT ENTRY
Create a journal entry in seconds on one focused screen:
- Signer name, address and phone
- ID type and ID details
- Document type, act notes, fee and payment method
- Signature capture with finger or stylus
- Optional thumbprint photo, signer ID photo and GPS tag
SEARCH, VOID AND EXPORT
Search by signer name, document type, ID details or notes. Voiding an entry keeps it and marks it visibly rather than deleting it. Export a date-range PDF journal with signatures, or a CSV fee history for bookkeeping.
PRIVATE LOCAL STORAGE
Records are stored on your device with AES encryption and do not leave your iPhone unless you export them yourself. Lock the app with a PIN and Face ID or Touch ID, with a recovery code in case you forget the PIN. There is no account and no sign-up.
NOTARYLOG BUSINESS
- Jobs with a reminder before each signing, and a week view
- Paste the signing company's confirmation and the job form fills in what it can read
- Clients with their usual fee, and one-tap call, text and directions
- Invoices and statements as PDFs, with print fees and other charges on their own lines
- Who owes you, oldest first, with 30 and 60 day bands
- Mileage at the IRS rate for the day you drove
- Expenses with receipt photos, and bills that repeat on their own

You can now delete a journal entry: open the entry, tap the menu, then Delete entry. If your state requires you to keep every entry, use Void instead.
If the App Store cannot be reached, the plans screen now tells you and offers Try again.
