BEEZZ: Home budget & expenses
Shared finances & savings
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Fewer taps on every entry: the reminder opens the add sheet and a whole month is one tap away. One budget for the family, and voice entry is free.
Your spending records itself - you just confirm. Say what you spent, out loud in Polish - “wydałem 30 zł w Biedronce” - and it is done. On Plan BEEZZ, contactless Apple Pay payments turn into ready-made entries on their own. A household budget in a minute a day.
WHY BEEZZ?
Most household budget apps die after a week, because typing every expense by hand is boring. In BEEZZ an entry comes from one sentence or from a payment, and all you do is confirm it. That is the whole thing.
VOICE ENTRY IN POLISH - FREE
“Wydałam 120 zł w Lidlu i 60 zł na Orlenie” - BEEZZ picks several expenses out of a single sentence, splits the amounts and suggests the categories. It also understands “yesterday”, “last Tuesday”, “two coffees at 14 zł each” and the Polish slang for round amounts. Perfect for getting home from the shops with a child in your arms. Dictation is free and unlimited.
BEEZZ speaks Polish - both the interface and the voice recognition.
EXPENSES FROM APPLE PAY (Plan BEEZZ)
Paying with your iPhone or your watch at a terminal? BEEZZ takes the amount and the merchant from Wallet and hands you a finished expense with a category - you approve or reject it with one tap. Setup is three steps, with instructions and a film inside the app.
Important: Wallet passes on contactless payments only. Purchases made online or inside apps cannot be caught this way - an Apple limit, not a BEEZZ one. You add those by voice.
A BUDGET THAT UNDERSTANDS YOUR MONTH
• The month runs from payday, not from the 1st
• “This is what you can still spend” - a real figure on the dashboard, free
• Limits per category, including your own (for example “Food - kids”)
• Recurring charges with a cadence of their own: monthly, quarterly, fortnightly
• A summary of every month, and a weekly report on what is eating your money (Plan BEEZZ)
ONE BUDGET FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
One household budget, everyone’s spending in one place, no more “what did you spend it on?”. Two people fit in the free plan; Plan BEEZZ raises that to four.
NO SIGN-UP FORM
You start straight away - no email, no password, no account to create. You secure it later with a single tap through Apple.

Who paid
• In a shared budget, pick who paid on each entry - the pill sits before the note - and the bars split by person. Turn it on in Settings, under “Household members”, with Plan BEEZZ.
• “Who added it” is now “Who paid”, part of Plan BEEZZ.
App lock
• Lock Beezz with whatever unlocks your iPhone - Face ID, Touch ID or the passcode. No new PIN. Turn it on in Settings, in the “App lock” row under “Dark mode”.
Fixes
• Small fixes - among them, a budget in dollars or euros with a limit no longer opens to an error screen before the month’s first expense.
3.6.2 6d ago
The weekly report, rebuilt
• It compares the week with your usual week, not the last one.
• “Coming up”: what you can still spend and how many bills are due in 7 days.
Shared budget
• “Who added it” (Settings, under Household members): a name on each entry and bars split by person.
• Anyone can remove anyone else from the budget - an old phone holding a seat, say.
Also
• Contactless Apple Pay: the setup guide now closes with the cross in its corner.
• Change the date and the repeat of a new entry with the buttons next to the note.
• “Usually” and typical income leave out the highest and lowest month.
• Small fixes.
3.6.1 Oct 17
Savings, rebuilt
• Pots drawn as bars, like your spending: Envelope, Wedding… 3 free, 12 with Plan BEEZZ.
• A pot can have a target with a date - Analysis tells you how much to add this month.
• Put in and Take out are now the + and − in the dock.
• Tap a move in the history to edit it, swipe right to delete it. Set the amount is under ⋯.
Also
• A category limit can be zero.
• On your own free trial you can buy Plan BEEZZ Forever.
• Split after dictating carves part of a purchase into its own entry.
• Apple Pay (Plan BEEZZ): a payment without an amount leads straight to fixing the automation.
• Steadier sync and small fixes.
3.5.0 Oct 13
Forecast settings: a cushion for surprises and savings in the forecast (Plan BEEZZ).
• Settings → Tools → Forecast settings. With a monthly limit, the forecast still counts from it.
• Tap the savings figure on top to correct it.
• Notes and new category names start with a capital letter.
• Signing in with a Google account Beezz has not seen secures the account you are on.
• The forecast says "limit" only when you have one.
• Reminders keep their hour on the night the clocks change.
3.4.0 Oct 10
Dark mode
• Beezz has a dark mode, a navy one. By default it follows your phone - in Settings, the "Dark mode" row turns it on or off for good.
• Category colors stay the same by day and by night.
Dashboard and forecast
• Tap the dashboard total: after spending and balance comes the running balance - income minus spending for this month and every one before it. It replaces the balance after savings.
• With a limit you set yourself, the forecast counts spending only: money put aside and goals no longer eat into the limit. It is the same figure as the bar on top of the dashboard.
• The forecast and balances no longer vanish under a spinner on every refresh. The figure stays put, and if a refresh fails, it says what time it is from.
Wraps
• For the first week of a month, the wrap button on top of the dashboard opens the month that just ended - no need to step back to it first.
• The weekly report's first insight now shows without Plan BEEZZ.
Savings
• A large first deposit? Beezz asks whether it is money you already had - if so, it counts as your starting amount, not as this month's saving.
• In Analysis, under "Worth putting aside", a button puts that amount in right away.
Faster
• An edited entry and an approved payment save at once - the app no longer waits to download the whole month again.
A short film about all of it waits in "What's new" inside the app.
3.3.0 Oct 3
Limits
• A thin bar along the top of the dashboard shows how much of the monthly limit is gone, and a tick how much of the month is. Past the limit, the bar changes color. Only a limit you set yourself counts (hold the dashboard total) - never the sum of your category limits.
• On Plan BEEZZ, subcategories take limits too: tap a category's bar on the dashboard, then the subcategory. Underneath, you'll see what is left.
• A limit above the whole monthly limit, or above its own category's? Beezz says so under the amount - and still saves what you typed.
• Editing an amount starts over: the first digit replaces the old figure instead of being added to its end.
The monthly wrap, retold
• Your total next to last month's, a podium of categories, and good news that moves.
• You turn the cards yourself - or switch on "Auto-advance" on the cover.
Also
• Shops from the US and Canada more often land in the right category by themselves - in dictation and in contactless Apple Pay expenses on Plan BEEZZ.
3.2.0 Sep 30
Subcategories at hand
• When you add an expense, tap a category and its subcategories slide out beside it. Add a missing one right there, with the plus at the end of that row - the amount you typed waits.
Also
• Savings from before Beezz? On the Savings page, enter how much you have already put aside - when you set up a goal, too. It counts as where you start, not as this month's saving.
• The forecast counts what is left to spend from all of your income - the safety buffer is gone, from Settings too.
• In Settings you can now suggest something to us, not only report a problem. Leave your email if you would like a reply.
• Beezz follows your iPhone's language - English or Polish. Change it in Settings, in the "Language / Język" row.
A video waits in the app, under "What's new".
3.1.0 Sep 27
Beezz in English
• The whole app now speaks English - dates, numbers, the first day of the week and the weekly report included. An iPhone set to English opens Beezz in English, and the "Language / Język" row in Settings changes it any time.
• A budget started in English gets English categories and the currency your App Store account pays in, and its months follow the budget's own time zone - an evening entry no longer slips into the next month.
• Dictation understands English sentences - "twelve fifty at Starbucks" lands where it should. It is a parser of its own, not a translated Polish one.
Privacy
• Before anything reaches the AI model, Beezz asks for consent and says what it sends. Without it dictation still works, and still for free.
• The terms and the privacy policy are updated for the App Store rules and for readers in the United States.
Also
• A new icon - the same bee, in a bolder line.
• Two quick taps on a button make one entry, not two.
• Rating the app no longer asks for stars first - the Settings row simply opens the App Store page.
3.0.0 Sep 25
Savings
• A deposit or a withdrawal that went in wrong can now be removed. Unfold the history and swipe the move to the right, the way an entry in the ledger goes. A move that cannot be taken back - one between goals, or one inside a finished goal - says so itself before you let go.
• Hold the amount to take everything to zero at once. It goes in as a withdrawal, so the history keeps every entry it has, and the goals stay open - just without money.
Dashboard
• The figure has a third reading. Tap it twice for the balance after savings: what is left once the money you put aside no longer counts as money to spend. That is the number to compare with your account balance. The phone remembers the reading you leave it on.
• The reading can be negative, and that is not a fault: a month where you put aside more than the month itself brought in shows the difference with a minus.
2.5.2 Sep 20
- Improved bank notifications.
2.5.1 Sep 18
Savings - a new dashboard page
• One swipe past income. Put money in and take it out - what is put aside never counts as spending.
• Goals as jars on a shelf: a name, an amount, a colour and a deadline. Tap a jar and the big one shows how much is in it, how much is missing and whether you will make it in time. Two goals for free, five on Plan BEEZZ.
• Move money between goals and free funds, and the history says what went in and when.
• “Analysis” says in one sentence whether this month is worth putting money aside and how much - worked out on the phone, no AI, on both plans.
• Once a month Savings asks by itself whether to put away what was left over from the previous month.
Forecast
• It knows about savings: what you set aside comes off what you can still spend, and a goal with a deadline can reserve its instalment.
• Seven cards instead of thirteen - the ones that speak about this month, looking forward. A new one, “End of the year”, comes with a twelve-month chart.
Fixes
• Dozens of small fixes from a review of the whole app - among them, your name can be changed in Settings, and a refused notification permission now leads straight to the system settings.
iPhone - important
• If you added the Apple Pay shortcut before 15 September, replace it, even if it works. The new one passes the amount more precisely and does not lose payments when the bank is slow with the amount. Delete the old one in the Shortcuts app and add the new one from Settings, under “Apple Pay expenses”.
2.5.0 Sep 17
Apple Pay on iPhone
• A new Apple Pay shortcut - replace it, even if the old one works. It passes the amount more precisely and does not lose payments when the bank is slow with the amount. Delete the old shortcut in the Shortcuts app and add the new one from Settings, under “Apple Pay expenses”.
• Still on an older shortcut? Beezz tells you in the bell.
• A simpler setup screen - you see at once whether it works and when the last payment came in.
• A payment the bank was too slow to describe now shows up as “No amount” within seconds.
Contactless Apple Pay payments record themselves on Plan BEEZZ.
Dictation
• Copes with the way people really talk: approximations, “last week” and corrections on the fly.
Fixes
• Apple Pay expenses you switched on come back when you sign in to the same account again.
2.4.3 Sep 15
Apple Pay on iPhone
• Under the setup steps there is now “Why might it not work?” - the three most common reasons, with a film.
Dashboard and forecast
• Tap the total and it turns into the month’s balance - income minus spending. The menu now opens on a long press.
• The forecast was rebuilt: the answer and the chart share one plate, and every reading is read across its row.
Recurring charges
• A cadence of their own: quarterly, twice a year, fortnightly or any you like.
2.4.0 Sep 13
• The Apple Pay shortcut needs version 2.2.3 or newer to fully work with contactless payments. Check the number at the very bottom of Settings and go through the setup once more.
2.2.6 Sep 11
Apple Pay on iPhone
• The fixed shortcut passes the payment amount, not the shop’s name.
• Still on the older shortcut? Beezz recognises it and shows how to replace it - in the bee’s inbox, on the entry’s card and in the setup steps.
• The setup steps now include a video tutorial of the whole configuration.
• A payment with no amount shows a “No amount” card with the shop’s name - a shop number can no longer land in your ledger as the amount.
Fixes
• The app no longer closes itself moments after opening from a notification.
• The tutorial lives in Settings - practise the basics whenever you like, nothing reaches your ledger.
2.2.5 Sep 9
Your budget can now run in 13 currencies - euro, kronor, pound, franc and the rest of Europe, each written the way that currency is written.
Apple Pay expenses: a "+" amount lands on the right side of the ledger, and a cancelled payment or a balance line no longer becomes an expense.
You can tell us how you like Beezz - and say what is missing in the same breath.
Fixes: the amount on a bank card fits whole, the amount sheet no longer cuts off its button, and turning on several reminders at once no longer closes the app.
2.2.2 Sep 9
• Dictation hears amounts better - groszy, thousands, spoken sums and slang, plus dates like “3 September” or “a week ago”.
• Bank notifications: a declined payment or a confirmation prompt no longer becomes an expense, and loan instalments stopped going missing.
• Entries made offline show up straight away, and one still waiting to send can be corrected without a connection.
• Layout fixes on small screens and at larger text sizes.
2.1.1 Sep 7
Balances by quarter
• Quarters replace half-years.
• The quarter lists every category with what it cost over the whole quarter. Tap a category to see how much went on it - this quarter and the ones before.
• The arrows above the list step back to earlier quarters.
From recent versions
• Open Balances from the dock, under Forecast and balances - the row in Settings is gone.
• In the calendar, tap the month's name to pick the whole month.
• Set a category limit by tapping its bar.
