converta is a minimalist currency converter built around one simple input. Type ‘5000 tenge in pounds’, ‘100 AED to GBP’ or ‘50 EUR + 100 AED in GBP’ and see a clear result.
THE CURRENCY YOU THINK IN
Choose your preferred currency once. Leave out the destination to convert into it automatically, or name another destination in your request. No forms to fill before every conversion.
NATURAL WORDS. PRECISE MATH.
Use supported currency names, ISO codes, clear symbols and shorthand amounts like 2.5k. Add or subtract amounts in different currencies. Descriptions like coffee or dinner are just words, never expenses. Ambiguous symbols, names or separators ask for clarification rather than a silent assumption.
PROVIDER RATES, NOT AI GUESSES
All calculations happen locally using Decimal arithmetic and rates from ExchangeRate-API. Rates update daily and show their timestamp. Use downloaded rates offline, clearly labelled as saved or outdated. If no rates have been downloaded, connect once before converting. Rates are indicative, not bank or card quotes.
A QUIET RECENT HISTORY
The latest ten conversions stay on your phone. Copy a result, review its original value and rate timestamp, or repeat it with available rates. Historical results never change when rates update.
