Practice what to say when work gets real.
You know some Japanese. Now get ready for the moments that matter at work: asking for clarification, reporting progress, joining a meeting and setting a respectful boundary.
Workplace Japanese is built for adults who can read kana and understand basic Japanese. Each short practice starts with a situation, a relationship and a concrete goal.
PRACTICE A TASK, NOT JUST A PHRASE
Read the brief, notice the important facts, work through objective exercises and make your own reply. Compare useful alternatives and understand why they fit. Try again with a changed detail.
CHOOSE HOW YOU RESPOND
Type your reply or record and listen back. Speaking is optional. Japanese device-voice playback and on-device transcription depend on availability. Recordings are never uploaded.
LEARN LOCALLY
Start without an account or cloud consent. Free tasks and unlocked Premium tasks work offline. Your history, progress and saved expressions stay on your device. Export and import learning data when you need a copy.
RETURN TO WHAT MATTERS
Save useful expressions and revisit review cards. Track practice without a single score that claims to measure your speaking ability.
OPTIONAL AI FEEDBACK
Ask for feedback on your task, relationship and clarity. You review your response and agree to cloud processing first. Confirmed text is processed by our Cloudflare-hosted service and DeepSeek in the People's Republic of China. DeepSeek may use inputs to improve and train its technology under its published privacy policy. AI feedback needs internet, can be wrong and is not a language certification.
FREE TO START
Practice 12 starter tasks: the 10 tasks in First Week Essentials, plus the first task in Clarify Before You Act and Take Ownership of a Task. Get full error explanations and unlimited local practice within Free tasks. Saved history and saved review cards remain accessible after a subscription ends.
PREMIUM
Unlock all 120 core tasks across 12 modules, including progress reports, meetings, calls, client conversations, mistakes and respectful boundaries. Monthly and annual subscriptions offer the same core features. Practice unlocked tasks locally as often as you like.
AI ALLOWANCES
Free includes 12 evaluated replies in the first service month and 5 in each subsequent service month. Premium includes 300 per service month, up to 60 per UTC day. Unused replies do not roll over. Service errors and retries of the same request do not consume extra replies.
No ads. No energy systems. No mandatory voice input.
The current lessons are model-assisted drafts and have not yet been independently reviewed. Licensed audio and supplemental content remain in development.
Premium is an auto-renewable subscription. Prices and billing periods are shown before purchase. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
