Most score apps just remember the score. Picklescore Tracker works out what it means. Log a doubles match in about ten seconds — tap four players, tap two scores, save. Everything else is derived from that. RATINGS THAT RESPECT THE SCORELINE Every player carries an Elo rating built for doubles, where a team's strength is the average of its two players. Winning 11-0 moves the needle more than winning 11-9, with diminishing returns, because the gap between winning by 2 and by 6 says something and the gap between 9 and 11 does not. Margin is also damped by how strong the winner already was, otherwise the best player farms rating off weaker opponents they were always going to beat. FIND YOUR BEST PARTNER Pair chemistry scores every partnership by how often it beat the odds against the specific opponents it actually faced. Some pairs are better than the sum of their ratings.
