Share your location with your family and friends on the map, and chat with them in a private conversation, with no external servers
Location Sharing - A simple app that brings your group together on one map, with a private chat between you. Know where your family and friends are, and communicate with them without needing a new account.
How does it work?
- Create a group and name it, then send the join code and the link PIN to whoever you want.
- The member pastes the code and writes his name, and appears on the map immediately.
- Each group has its own independent data space, and you can belong to several groups.
The Map
- Members' locations appear on Apple Maps, and a "Show All" button gathers them in one frame.
- Tap on any member's name to see their current location and their movement path during the day.
- Ability to pause location sharing from the app and resume it.
- Member's route and the speed they moved at appear when you tap on them.
- From previous days: choose any old day to see their route, with a green marker for start and red for end.
- Temporary saving of the member's path in case the internet is cut off and sending it to the rest of the members when internet is available.
Smart tracking that saves battery
- No new location is recorded unless you move a large distance.
- On a straight road, no extra points are recorded, and in turns, points automatically become denser to keep the path accurate.
- Works in the background, even after closing the app when you move a large distance (requires Always Allow Location).
Chat between members
- Chat for the whole group and private conversations with each member.
- Send texts, photos, short video clips, and voice messages.
- Sent and read marks, and profile pictures next to messages.
- Notifications for new messages, and ability to delete a message for you or for everyone.
- Ability to add and delete member photo.
Privacy and control
- No private server of ours: Data is transferred via your account's iCloud.
- The join code is encrypted and does not work without the link number.
- A copy of the data is saved on your device, and is deleted from the cloud after it reaches all members.
- The group creator edits its name, deletes it, and manages members, and any member can leave it.
- You can clear your logs or delete your entire account at any time from "Account Management"

- iCloud account activated on the device.
- For best background performance: Always allow Location and Notifications.
