I used to love this app. Then they decided to add in the pop up ads some with sound that comes on even if you do not want. Now it is less useful than others. When something comes out and works and the the devs decide to change it to ask for money by making it work worse or more obnoxiously, it is akin to blackmail. Charge up front or don’t, but don’t change the rules just because you can.

It was “almost” the perfect app I’d been looking for! Love and need the “extra payments” being available for one-time payments or series of payments & then it reflects it on the payment schedule & recalculated automatically!!! On an actual amortization table! Omg!!! Perfect!! No other app has this and I was looking for this particular feature. Was also looking for an app that would let me save multiple loans - this one did! So we’re 2 for 5 now. I was getting excited! It also has a real date feature like March 2019 as oppose to other apps that had Pymt #3, so that was great! 3 for 5 now. App also allows me to export (email/print) the data - needed that, 4 of 5 now. Then it allowed me to change the “start date” of the loans and reflected the calculations accordingly - yes! Now we’re rocking! I go to save the various loans with the various start dates - and No! The various loans show the latest inputted start date and not their specific start date. Loan A starts in March 2018 and has monthly extra payments. Loan B starts in July 2019 and has a one-time extra payment in Aug, but sadly the loans have the same start dates now and so the schedule is off! Bummer!!

I used to hate the ads so I bought the “full” version a while back. I wouldn’t call this a “professional” loan calculator, but it does what is needed when needing to check a quick payment (I’m a loan officer at a bank). The developer could add features such as a comparison model where you compare different interest rates and amounts to each other to get a determination of what a better option might be. It would be VERY helpful if you could choose the terms in the form of something other than years. What if I want to figure based on 22 months or 23 months? This option is not readily available. Also if I could ask, please add a “done” option to the keypad to help it disappear. This would make checking results easier, as there isn’t much room to tap outside and cause it to go away. Overall, not a bad app, and I do regularly use it.

I was looking for a loan app that could handle weekly payments and other payment frequencies other than monthly frequencies and this app not only handled that but was so easy and intuitive to use it became my main loan calculator. I also had a couple of questions for the developers and they were quick (within an hour) with an answer. Very impressive. The app is so good that I purchased without ads but it’s still effective if you can put up with ads.
