MusiQ Player - Queue Music
Queue and control your music.
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
See the music that’s playing now and up next in your queue, right from your Home Screen with the new Now Playing widget on iOS 14!
MusiQ is a gesture-based music player designed to let you manage the now playing queue with ease.
Enqueue songs, albums, artists, playlists, and entire genres from your music library using left-to-right and right-to-left swipe gestures, and rearrange them in the queue however you like by simply dragging!
Set a breakpoint in the queue (when repeat is off) to stop playback after a certain point and to display the amount of time remaining until the breakpoint is reached (like a sleep timer).
Preview the song that’s up next right from the player view by panning the album artwork from right-to-left, and skip to that song by releasing.
Adjust the volume in one dot increments by tapping the speaker icons on either side of the volume bar in the player view.
Browse through your music with filters for songs, albums, artists, genres, and playlists. Further refine a selected category by grouping results with the granularity desired.
The artists filter intelligently finds all songs and albums not only made by the artist, but also featuring the artist, providing a comprehensive listing, unlike many other music players.
Export saved queues directly to the native Music app, or export them in the iTunes XML Playlist format to the document picker or to open in other apps. This file can be imported into iTunes as a native playlist or into MusiQ as a queue.
Switch between the light and dark themes with a two finger swipe up or down, or have it automatically match the system appearance.
View the list of songs Up Next, the current Queue, and change the Repeat or Shuffle options—all from the CarPlay interface.
Completely usable with VoiceOver.
Download now and try it out!
Note: MusiQ cannot play DRM-protected songs (e.g. M4P format) or songs stored in iTunes Match or iCloud Music Library that have not been downloaded to your device.
more There are many great features in MusiQ - a simple, clean interface; quick navigation through the library with multiple views; easy addition of songs, albums and playlists to the queue; overall management of the queue and playback. But the key feature of MusiQ is its ability to manage multiple queues and switch between them, with each one remembering its playback position and shuffle status. Example:- I have a queue set up with quick tempo rock songs for the gym- I have another queue set up with road trip albums- I have another queue set up with classical for studying- I have another queue set up with lullaby music for my grandsonWith a couple of taps and swipes, I can easily switch between them *and pick up where I left off in each one*. This is the signature feature of MusiQ and what sets it apart from all other music players.I've probably tried at least a dozen players in addition to the stock player, and they all seem to focus on form instead of function. MusiQ puts function first and still manages to be nice to look at. And Nicolas is exactly what a developer should be - available, and open to suggestions and feedback. Well done.

I love this app. If you like to build and rearrange music queues rather than simply relying on playlists alone, then this is the app for you! Not only can you set and rearrange queues till your heart's consent but you can also create breakpoints (where music stops automatically)! If you like full control over your music then MusiQ is for you!

It looks good when you're deciding what songs to queue next.It is a little hard to pick up at first, but once you figure it out it is a very smooth way of qeueing your songs. It has an in app purchase if you're looking to have unlimited qeueing needs but personally I won't be picking that up.All things aside it is perfect.

Ever since iOS7 came out.. the built in Music app has been a complete disaster for me and iApple never came around to make it like it use to be not a big fan of streaming either.. this app does everything I need it to do.. I'm the kind of guy who uses genre alot and I love that this app has it in alphabetic order.. by far the best music app since iOS6 own music app.. love it! Found it by accident aswell.. Please no changes! And if any changes ever happened please add an option for us to change it back if we do not like it.. some of us don't like changes >:p .. this app gets 5 stars!!!

2.1 08/23/2016
Over a year in the making, MusiQ 2 is finally here! Check out what’s new in this HUGE update:
[NEW] Completely redone from the ground up in Swift. This means that you should experience far fewer crashes and things should run a lot smoother than before.
[NEW] Completely redesigned interface with a focus on usability and simplicity.
[NEW] Optimized for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.
[NEW] Support for iOS 8+.
[NEW] Improved accessibility for VoiceOver users.
[NEW] Added the ability to share your currently-playing music to your favorite social networks and integrate with apps like Workflow via the system share sheet. Simply flick up the album artwork from the player view to access.
[NEW] Added a player bar to control music playback from anywhere in the app. The play/pause button works much like the headphone controls: double-tapping skips to the next song, and triple-tapping skips to the previous song.
[CHANGE] The library loading indicator no longer blocks access to the entire app while loading. (Believe me, this one was bugging me too!)
[CHANGE] Your entire music library is now found in the new music tab. Browse through your music with filters, and further refine a selected category by grouping results with the granularity desired.
[NEW] The artists filter now intelligently finds all songs not only made by the artist, but also featuring the artist, providing a comprehensive listing, unlike many other music players.
[NEW] Added index scroll bar to all music filters. The bar is always active, but hides when not in use to save screen space.
[CHANGE] My main goal for this app is to have the most amount of people using it, so in fear of not meeting this goal, all of the app’s features are now completely free for everyone. A huge thank you to everyone who already purchased the unlock for supporting further development of the app!

2.0 07/08/2015
This update brings lots of improvements to user experience:
[NEW] Implemented state preservation and restoration. This means a loaded Queue is not lost if the app is killed by the system in the background.
[NEW] Added an alert to notify of unsaved changes in the currently loaded Queue before creating or loading a new queue—cases in which changes would be lost.
[NEW] Swipe from left-to-right on a song in the Queue to duplicate it.
[NEW] Added a reorderable Breakpoint when Repeat is Off. This allows the player to stop playing when the Breakpoint is reached (works much like a sleep timer). The Breakpoint also displays useful information about the songs above it, specifically the number of songs and their total playing time.
[NEW] Added a clever (and personal) prompt to review the app on the App Store or provide feedback within the app. Please note that this message is set to appear only once per version, and only after certain usage requirements are met. The message is also friendly and avoids getting in your way. (I hate those constant, annoying “Review Me” notification alerts too!)
[FIX] Improved Spanish localization.
[FIX] Fixed the (annoying) snapshot when anything disrupted the app’s flow, such as swiping down on the Notification Center, receiving a notification alert, etc.
