I am working with Stynt for so long , even before pandemic time . After opening the account, you just posts your days available , update your license informations and then you look for jobs . It’s very convenient on your app phone , you get texts with a new job posting all the times, and if you like the hourly payment click on and most of the time you get the job , unless there aren’t other candidates in the same time for the same job . You clock in and out - at the job location from your own cellphone . All the places that I worked , they were very polite , offer PPE all the times, and the payment comes right in your bank account in a few days . Very convenient to choose to work when you are available . Very happy with company. Thank you for all your help !

Honestly i love the app. It’s so helpful if you need a job last minute near your area. You can pick your own hours and schedule that is the best part about it. However, the couple of things that i would change about the app is one being… actually knowing which office and the name you’re going to be placed at. I’ve have this happen maybe twice and its an all day affair. What i mean by that is I have to cancel it on my end then my account gets paused then i have to email Stynt to fix my account because there was a conflict with said office. It’s a whole hassle. But if i knew prior to applying to the job of which office it was i would’ve never applied and i wouldn’t have to go through a whole day event just to unpause my account. Another i would say is having an actual template for the offices of what they actually need that day. (Meaning what assistant)Some offices are great about it but more than 90% of the time the office doesn’t specify what assistant they need. I’ve walked into two periodontist offices and I’ve told them I’m pretty much useless because i only know general. It all ended up working out but it’s super frustrating for the assistant and the doctor.

I want to start this off by saying in theory it should be a good app. The problem is all in the delivery after you download it. Once you do enter your hours available they will actually call, email and text you (even if your notifications are turned off and you’ve unchecked allowing them to contact you) sometimes multiple times per day to have you fill in on job openings they want you to work. Doesn’t matter if you’ve already picked up a job or are on vacation or working part time on your own. Even after asking them to no longer contact you they will until you sign out of the app or ignore them for long enough. I recently updated the app after not using it for almost a year (about 11 months) and you can no longer have it on track precise location only while using the app. You have to have it as always on now! How did I find out they are actually stalking you, you might ask? Because a friend that I had met completely outside of stynt had asked me to fill in at one of her offices for a vacation, sure I said no problem. Turns out it was a place I had previously temped for through Stynt over a year ago! They called me this week and put my account on hold because they had seen me go to that location through my location gps! Once again I have not used this app in almost a year! They also lied to get me to call them back by saying that they wanted to talk to me about hours I had worked for a previous job, not to say that they were actually invading my privacy and going to start asking about my whereabouts once they got me on the phone. Completely unacceptable. I’ll be going through other temping agencies and networking in my own. The last thing I need is to be micromanaged though a freaking app and corporation.

Stynt is overall an excellent company. The platform is easy. Their office staff is very helpful and professional. With all the components of traditional style employment but with the added flexibility. I am at ease knowing that all required employee/ employer taxes are handled every paycheck. Huge ➕!Being an employee vs’ subcontractor!!I do believe that they could improve a few options, one is allowing “Countering” ie, office is requesting 8-5pm, if professional is unavailable those hours they could “Counter “ 9-4, for example.I would like a note section in the app, in the job profile to add things like staff names, for future reference. The sick policy is a tad strict, so don’t be sick. lol The bonus opportunities do seem very difficult to attain- but I’m trying! I love the we earn PTO too!!I hope to see many more opportunities in my local area! Definitely worth having this resource available as a Full Time Temporary Worker!!
