I have to update my review. Just realized they have since lowered the price of the ad removal to $2.99 and I have concluded this is a decent price for an app that I use quite often (also got tired of hitting the ad by accident instead of hitting the keys). Hopefully the devs keep it up because this one is still the best around. I do have one request: shortcut keys to move up and down between rows (boxes). Maybe even a left and right to correct mistakes rather than tapping and dragging. Seems like it would make multiple calculations faster. Thanks!I went ahead and updated thinking, this is a decent app, I'll pay to have ads removed. Then upon launching the app I realized it was 5 bucks to remove them. 5 bucks!! You've got to be kidding me. Time to delete and find another....sorry but that is absurd imo.

I’ve used this app for percentage related calculations for many years. I use it frequently to determine principle amount given a known percentage and resulting percent; it’s flexible enough to ‘solve for x’ wherever the unknown variable may be. Also handy for compound interest, tax, percentage increase and more. As of 2022 the app is functional, however it hasn’t been updated in a long time. It was crashing for a short time in 2021, however it’s working as of May 2022. I wish it would be updated because it’s useful, but it may already be abandoned by its developers. Apple should include these types of functions in the calculator app imo because the quality of this type of app is lacking.

I really like this app a ton. I use it regularly for finding out the local tax percentage on items I purchase online so that I can do my budget accurately. I'm able to just input my local tax percentage in the Sales Tax option, it's 6.5% where I live. And then I just input the amount of the items that I purchased online and that gives me the correct amount to deduct from my running budget.The Sales Tax function is really the only part of the app I use. But, I love that I have so many other options to use if I need them that this program offers. It looks to me like this app covers every type of percentage that you might need to calculate and then some.I also found it was worth it to show my support for this free app from the developer, by making the in-app purchase to remove advertisements. The Restore Purchases was a little slow at registering my previous purchase I made for that on my iPhone when I installed this app on my iPad. But it eventually kicked in and removed the advertisements for me, which is good. But I'm happy to make that purchase to show my gratitude for all of the hard work that was no doubt put into building this great app in my opinion.One feature request I'd like to make, though, is I wanted to ask the developer if he'd please make the app orientation on the iPad compatible for horizontal viewing as well please. Thanks if you'll consider that request. I use my iPad pretty much only in landscape view. So, I think it would be great if we had the option to view thus application in landscape as well.I'd say the only downside to the application is that it hasn't received an update in at least 3 years. Honestly, though, since it works fine for me and is still compatible with the current iOS build, at the time of my writing this review the the latest iOS build is - 13.3.1. So, I guess as long as this app continues to work properly I don't need any new updates. I would just ask the developer to please keep Percentage Calculator up to date and compatible with whatever future iOS updates come out please. I love this app, it’s easy to use and has a wide range of calculations that are convenient. It has an elegant interface and is easy to read. I loved the app so much, in fact, that I paid to remove the ads. Well-worth the $2.99.
