Really enjoy being able to just shut my eyes and listen to a radio play from yesteryear. Takes some imagination. Only one time did I sign on and the menu of station offerings not match what was being broadcast. Every other time, it was perfect. The menu is a great asset in finding exactly what you want to listen to (Boston Blackie, Sherlock Holmes, or big band music, etc--and I'm talking about a lot of stations). If I could only have one app, this would be it.I must have written the above a long time ago. Lately of the very many “stations”, about 33, only 3 would connect. I was going to give a low rating, but now, today, June 24, 2021, every station is working. I sure enjoy listening to rebroadcasts of WW2 broadcasts, Boston Blackie, Dragnet, and miss them a lot when the stations fail to connect. I repeat, if I could only have one app, this would be it.

This is THE go-to app you will want for every day listening, trust me.When Apple did an upgrade last week, all of a sudden the app was unable to connect to streaming audio. Within just a few days, Ed Zakeski had an update fixed and back online for his MANY appreciative app users. Its said that you don’t realize how much you appreciate something until you don’t have it anymore. As a disabled guy that doesn’t get out very often, I love listening to lots of different OTR broadcasts several hours daily. Classic movies are my other treat. After several years of doing this, I can tell you this is THE premiereapp you’ll want. It gives you the most variety by presenting many online streams in a simple format similar to a radio or TV guide. The programs are constantly changing, giving great variety without any hassle. Just tap the stream you want. There you go!

I’m writing over the opening my old 5 star review because it was long and partially out of dateI just want to say thank you to the developer for writing a great app and for this latest update all content and no fluff, clean and easy. I noticed even the scrolling is more fluid. Just thank you! We get so much joy from this app There are no ad servers to slow it down, interrupt play, etc. When I want OTR and I want it NOW(!) I always default to this app. There is ALWAYS a genre or an episode available instantly. You can’t get any easier than this

In the course of listening to this channel, it’s been my great fortune to hear uncounted whole episodes, but interviews amongst the crew of tremendous CBS Radio actors, such as William Conrad, Parley Baer, the greatest/ Howard McNear, Dehner, Perrin and above all the sounds effects experts who wereas diligent as any sound men in radio!Bill Conrad was never as two dimensional as he himself might have self-portrayed, he was a tremendously subtle, varied multifaceted voice of CBS dramatic radio!
