Submitted a repair request w/photo attached via this app & followed up w/a phone call same day just in case. To my amazement, the phone rep pulled my request right up from the app while we were still on the phone. She was courteous & prompt in handing this particular complaint. Thanks-

I've used this app to report potholes, huge gaps in railroad crossings, roads falling into ditches, semi trucks and abandoned vehicles parked in residential areas for days or weeks at a time, and raw sewage flowing into Skiffes Creek. Each time the item is either closed without a response or is closed with an impossible response, such as "please call police aides," when the issue only occurs outside the 8am-5pm police aide hours.Newport News needs to go back to SeeClickFix where the public can truly see how ineffectual their city government is at solving problems.
