I haven’t matched with anyone yet as it’s only been a few days since joining. I have a few cons so far, we’ll, not really cons but glitches. I am seeing profiles that says that someone is one mile away but when you click on their profile, it shows that they are in another State. Another one that I found is that when you sign up, it makes you write a description but I have seen pages that have no description. One suggestion that I would make is for the maker to require two photos. When you sign up, it makes you send in a verification photo, I don’t understand how people are able to get verified, when their profile picture is a side face photo or they have on a mask. Last thing, the daily, multiple day “reminder to upgrade” messages are super annoying. Just when you think you have a message from a match, it’s the app sending you a reminder and when you try to delete it, it doesn’t really delete. I do like how they approve profiles quickly and the process is user friendly.

I do appreciate the fact that there are no mysterious algorithms to fight with as is the norm these days in social apps. The ability to search for users is great although I wish you could search for online users in your area vs how it is now which is just ALL online users. I will say this app is much better than BLK. I do wish there was an ability to copy the text from a message to the clipboard. It does become a hassle when you get a phone number for example and you have to type it out and then copy and paste it into iMessage. I hope some features are taken from Tinder such as being able to link your Instagram, or sending a contact card that has your phone number, or other social media platforms. I do believe $50 a month is a bit pricey for an Elite membership compared to a full year of Tinder Platinum for $100 but I figure things will change down the line once this app becomes more established. Overall I've enjoyed the app so far and have had some interesting conversations with ACTUAL women (finally no bots and catfish!). Tinder is plagued with bots, catfish and for some reason keeps showing men occasionally even though I have my settings strictly women, I cannot stress how happy I am to finally have an app geared towards black people that isn't full of sketchiness. I hope to see many improvements in the future as I believe this could be the #1 dating app for black people! Outside of my minor gripes with copying, searching, and the Elite price, I would give this app 4.5/5!

RBL deserves 5 stars this App is Amazing in Fact I’m very surprised with this app if you don’t have this app why not? I was pretty skeptical about downloading RBL- Real black love because I’ve never heard about this app but I’m so glad that I did discover this app because it’s all worth it! Everyone on this app is nice and amazing Every time you get a new message, a like or even a view this app lets you know it even sends it to your email! This app is like no other ordinary app the features are amazing and it’s unbelievable… They even give you a month free of subscription to give you the best experience possible! Apps that I’ve been on don’t even give you a month at the most! I’ve met a few of my friends off of here and wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world! I’m so thankful for this app if you download you would be too… RBL also let’s you customize the miles, age, height, and the body type all of the above so you can get the best match as possible if you have a specific preference you can customize all of that on the filters where the magnifying glass is! RBL also shows you all go there members and all of the online members so if you’re looking to chat with someone immediately that’s where that feature comes in at! It also gives you the feature to wink at someone if you’re feeling flirty or trying to get someone’s attention haha pretty cool right? It tells you who likes you, who viewed you, and then your inbox is where your messages will appear every time someone views your profile you’ll get a notification of that persons name!Every single time??? I was introduced to RBL by hopping into Clubhouse rooms managed by the Founder Joseph Dixon. He and his team made it clear they were passionate about helping people find love matches that led to serious relationships and marriage (if that is what you are searching for). It inspired me to download the app and give it a try. About the app: I love how detailed the verification process is to better ensure you are not getting catfished, and how they actually seem to match you with people you have common interests with. I also appreciate that they keep it classy-no revealing photos are allowed and all must be approved before actually being posted on your profile. Additionally, I appreciate that the match stories shared on social media are real people and not just advertisements. Last, but certainly not least, It is encouraging to know this is a safe online space to date and possibly find my match. I am so excited to give this app a try and looking forward to what will come from it. So far, definitely good!
