We just rolled out Hazard Scout in our Safety Dept. We had a video conference with them first to discuss our needs, they helped us custom tailor it to our industry and took our suggestions for future improvements. They are a class act outfit here, the app is seamless and the navigation is easy. Instant updates with real-time data. Hazard Scout made our jobs much easier to keep organized giving us a central hub for everything safety related.

Decent Safety Journal App But Major Labor Waster

Overall the app performs well. It allows for multiple task input which allows crews to review hazards & consider responses to remove hazards. For statistical review & record keeping, this app should get five stars. For input, it should get a one star. Working for a corporate electrical contractor, I am sure my employer would LOVE to know that I am wasting nearly an hour of every day filling out each individual form instead of installing work for which we ACTUALLY get paid for. But it isn’t just my time that’s wasted, every member of my crew has to wait until I get this done to review it all so we can discuss the pitfalls. Since KPA Flex bought out AnchoRock, the drop down menus of repeated tasks have been eliminated, now each task has to be input. This is fine for creating daily awareness, but totally inefficient for a business. Imagine now that there are hundreds of foreman daily performing these tasks throwing hours away. I am not against being thorough, but our contractors are not paying us to waste time. Please install drop down repetitive task menus to reduce the lost time so my employer doesn’t FIRE me for lost time on this app.

Consider using this platform to indoctrinate your employees then! They don’t have a choice because you went to college. Sure they do all the hard work which affords you the time to sit around thinking of ways to make their life soooo much better! You know what’s best for them OBVIOUSLY. Forms need a save button for being set down and returned too at a later time without restarting or having to falsely attempt to submit, which sometimes works to submit the form requiring more steps to find and edit the un-“completed” document
