Bible in Basic English Bible In Basic English. The Bible In Basic English (BBE) is a translation of the Bible into Basic English. The BBE was translated by Professor S. H. Hooke. In an effort to simplify and make easy to understand the text he and his team limited the vocabulary to the standard 850 Basic English words. 100 words that were helpful to understand poetry were added along with 50 "Bible" words. The Bible in Basic English strives to simplify the Bible so that more people worldwide can read and understand the text. By using the Basic English vocabulary, this goal is accomplished. The BBE is certainly straightforward and simple.

This meets up to the name, super simple, even I understand it and I can’t even understand some tutorials, besides that, it’s pretty good, I just started and already I love it, I do recommend however to improve the voices, they are a bit weird sounding sometimes, it is possible to maybe use AI to read it, that does the trick well, that’s all I have to say, amen😁👍

This Bible app is easy to read. It’s just like reading a paper version. Others I have tried kept starting over at the beginning of the Bible every time I opened the app. This one opens right to where I left off. So much easier to use. 😁

I love this app so much. I had trouble on which part of the Bible to start first, and this app made me a yearly plan. And for FREE too. I love that there are daily verses and I can highlight and take notes. It helps me to keep track of my progress. Overall I recommend this app.

I have been enjoying this Bible on my Kindle. I find that I read the Bible more when the translation is broken down with better understanding. I feel it is a good comparison to KJV.
