You can manage your subscription at any time and turn off auto-renewal by going to your iTunes Account Settings.
Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when the user purchases a 10-Minute Spanish subscription.

Great app for vocabulary but …

Very effective app for learning new vocabulary. In two months, I have added hundreds of new words.

But this would make the app better… If it was American English. Is it British English or bad English?

If there was a way to “submit a suggestion“ because I speak Spanish very well and found several translation errors.

It would be better if the language focused on every day functional words. I found myself sorting through lots of useless vocabulary, like medieval words, and uncommonly used.

I would also like the ability to “repeat words“ on demand to have more frequent spaced repetition for the words I already learned. Not only the 20 words a day.

I purchased a two month program (glad I did), but I will not be renewing. You would’ve made more money from me if you had a simple $9 a month membership. Instead of the scamming pricing structure currently used.

Needs more context

Good for building vocab. Doesn’t provide context of words which can be frustrating. I don’t always know if I’m being given a literal or direct translation or something that has the intended meaning. Adding an option to be able to view the definition of the word and maybe a few example sentences would be extremely helpful.

Perhaps my biggest gripe is I have no clue what dialect I’m learning. Vocab varies from country to country and region to region and I simply have no clue what I’m learning in that regard. I think adding country or region indicators to words if they’re specific to a place or letting people choose a country to learn from would be nice. There are also some translations that don’t quite make sense to me. For example, toilet was given as “taza del wáter”, literally cup of water. I’ve seen el váter used for toilet before, but never this. It worries me because I know there are a lot of different translations for this, and the fact I’m getting none of the usual ones is weird. It also makes me worried about whether or not I’ve been receiving less common or even inaccurate translations for other words. If it’s a a regional thing, having that clarified would be nice.

Unethical & shady

The app is a good concept, and I was excited to try it, but it’s got to be the most shady, and unethical way to sneak people into their most expensive plan. I never received the reminder notice before my card was charged, and never received a notification to “make sure your notifications are turned on for this app”. Nothing. Only to find out after the $80 whammy, that I could’ve signed up at a MUCH cheaper plan. Tried to file a dispute with Apple, tried to contact the customer service to request a refund. Nothing. Just received a reply from y’all justifying that, because I agreed to it up front, that the fact that they had a cheaper plan available (that you do NOT disclose) that they can’t do anything. Total scam. They are tricking customers and with-holding information. Whatever benefit this app offers is completely overshadowed by the deplorable business practices they are using. Apple should remove/ban them immediately for that.

The condition for activating the test period is the activation of a paid subscription. The subscription terms explicitly state that the first 7 days are free, after the trial period is over, payment will be charged. You can cancel your app subscription before the end of the trial period. If the user cancels the subscription before the end of the trial period, no funds will be debited.
If you have not given permission to send notifications, the application will not be able to notify you about the end of the test period. You probably didn't allow the app to send you notifications.
We use standard Apple subscriptions. In accordance with Apple's payment policy, subscription management is on the platform side for security reasons, developers do not have access to transactions and data of users who have signed up for a subscription.
