I love this app. It’s one of the best apps ever the original Starwalk doesn’t have an ocean like this or a pretty sky like this. This app is actually better than the first one. Because you can enable or disable the atmosphere and, the horizon, the eclipse. Even the labels and you can even turn up the Milky Way and turn it down by adjusting it and changing the night sky in different colors. And all kinds of cool things even with your camera. And that is my submitted review. From Joshua Maurer.
Dear Joshua,You don’t know how much your fantastic feedback means to us. Thank you so much for a great review!
I love this app. It’s good for all ages but I would say 10+ and it’s so fascinating. I love anything about space. I have so much space related things, and rocks in my room. So I use this app daily. It gives you good visuals and information without being too nerdy. It’s easy to understand. I would recommend if you like to know more about space. I gave 4 stars because there is a glitch, but it should go back to normal soon. Thank you!
We are so grateful for your review. Thanks for sharing your rating with us and the community. We recommend reporting glitches to our support team by selecting feedback in the app menu ;)
I’m still new to this app, but I must say so far it has some of the most beautiful imagery representing the various constellations, etc. that I’ve seen in an app. The only negative experience is at first launch, there is atmospheric music playing With no button to mute it. (not everyone will open an app where sound is… welcome). Not a huge deal, you can turn it off in settings. But still…
Thank you for the positive feedback! The sound is easily switched off from the app settings, it it a matter of a couple of taps ;)
I searched “JWST” (James Webb space telescope) multiple times in the search. What did I find? Nothing. Nothing titled JWST popped up. but on the bright side, it has Hubble, TESS, Chandra, and other telescopes. I’m super excited for the NGRST (Nancy grace roman space telescope) to launch. keep working hard ;). If there’s no life in space, that’s an awful waste of space.
Thank you for the feedback! James Webb Telescope is in the app, please consider using search and type JWST ;) Black holes are not in our plans for Star Walk 2 at the moment, maybe someday ;) A good product does not come out of nowhere. Behind each good product there is a team that works to create, support and improve the product and it won’t be that good if those people will work for free ;)
I don’t know why you had to insert some ads of Chinese talking in the background removing the calming music it used to only come with. Also why can I see that many satellites? I payed for the entire lifetime fee and it’s harder to navigate. I want to be able to easily insert or remove my visual choices. If any of this was to change please remove the Chinese interruptions in the Background music. No ads please that’s what I payed for. Ps the first thing when you go into the app you see a list of planets and it’s so annoying I just want to hop right into the sky screen.
We have not inserted any Chinese talking ads, it seems that you are confusing Star Walk 2 with something else ))) You can track 20K+ satellites in the app, please try to use the search ;) If you experience difficulties with the app’s functionality or you have an issue to report, we recommend contacting our support team. You can do this directly from the application by selecting the "feedback" item in the menu.
Thank you so much for making this app. Sadly, I have not seen the things I have hoped to see but this isn’t your guys fault. Yes I live somewhat in the country but the city is a few miles away so k yeah, I can see many stars but not the amount that takes your breath away. Sometimes on clear nights when the light pollution is low I can see a lot of stars but this app has made me plan to travel to places far north (Alaska, Canada) to see the northern lights and to find the darkest skies possible. If anyone is reading this, please get this app. I bought the full version and it is totally worth it. I’ve seen many people post reviews saying they didn’t see what they wanted. You will never ever be able to see what you want if you don’t look hard enough and if you don’t practice. Practicing meaning reading books (I prefer National Geographic) memorize the shapes and work hard and chances are, you’ll be an amazing stargazer, and who knows? You could probably be an amazing astronomer! I’m a mere amateur stargazer but I’m working and taking advantage of any clear night I get! If you’d like to be afuture astronomer or just stargaze for you own pleasure, this is the app for you! (it’s totally worth buying the entire version!) So download the app and get out there and stargaze💙💙🌙⭐️✨✨🌕🌓💫🤩🤩🤩
We are glad that everything is fine with the application. Thank you for your kind feedback, we will consider your suggestions.
