I enjoy this game. It is simple and easy to grasp but does present a challenge to play. Especially when you have to play as the ghost and your trying to help the psychics figure things out. I’m sure that there maybe a bug or two, but personally I have either never encountered a bug or chalked it up to bad luck. Personally though, I would love the inclusion of a card gallery to have a look at the vision cards, location cards, suspects and even the psychic investigators with an option to see their backstory. Lords of water deep did a card gallery feature to let you look at all of the cards in the game. I would personally love a gallery just to look at the beautiful artwork that is present in the cards.All in all, a good game with replay ability

Having never played the physical game, I can't compare the two, but being new to this game, I can say I am loving this! The tutorial is good at explaining the basic gameplay strategies while being engaging and not overwhelming and the game runs perfect on my iPad Air2. People who are saying it crashes can't read the description where it clearly states the game is only optimized on iPad Air/Air 2, and iPad mini 2/3/4. Nowhere does it say it's optimized with any other iPad. The sounds are great, the art is beautiful and the game flows really well. I would never play this type of game with my group (we don't generally enjoy games like this) but the Solo/campaign mode allows me to play this game without being overwhelmed. Great job at this port, it's beautiful and fun!

I played the board game a few weeks ago and loved it. I was hesitant to purchase the app do to all the complaints. I have been waiting to see what bugs were being fixed. I made the jump to buy yesterday because the price was dropped to $4.99. First complaint that I figured out was you need to go to the makers web site and create your account. The app doesn't work for that. Secondly multiplayer works fine for those having probs. You need to be in the lobby and not chat for it to drop you in a game. Hit lobby then hit quick play and you will see the board come up. The only complaint and it's not the games fault is on a phone things are so small. The Mag glass does help for us that needs it

Only my first game...I played with the max AI, so maybe that changes the game mechanics. I was under the impression I had more than 30 seconds to pick based on the story mode. But the AI’s were all getting their cards and I was last even though I was top of the list and I think the two minutes started when the first AI got their card which is not what the rules say. It could be I do not know how the game goes, but I have been sitting here for five minutes and the ghost still has not done anything and I cannot do anything so...I think this game needs improvement. Maybe the ghost found rest or had second thoughts and doesnt want the culprit found.UPDATE:Played a few more times on Pass and Play. Definite bugs. On the iPhone I could not deselect AIs. That problem went away. I played also on the iPad which had a similar problem: I cannot change the ghost back to AI. The selection changes before I start the game, but it still thinks a player is the ghost. Also, toggle is inconsistent; sometimes I need to cancel and go back to lobby to correct the pass and play conditions.This game is not super fun, because it is frustrating, so even without bugs, I would only give it a 4/5 max.

I've played the physical game many times and this app is a pretty good reflection of the game. Being the ghost in story mode is weird, not knowing why the AI didn't "get" the clues I gave them. Still working through the game, so I'll update my review later!The most frustrating thing right now is in the final phase of ghost play in story mode, I cannot change the selection of card groups, even by tapping on the psychics or anything. I'm stuck with whatever random set is shown, and trying to give hints to that one instead of a more apt set. This is on iphone 7 with latest updates installed. Does story mode just not let you do this? (In which case, bad choice for a tutorial because it's very unclear what you can do and how to do it) or is this an error?

I LOVE this game board game wise. Have been playing it for years and converted others into lovers of the game!! Bought the app during a discount time they were running. It suggests to start in story mode but when you do the round as a ghost it won't allow me to choose a psychic to go with. So I just played a few times until I got cards to go with the one that is automatically there. But it won't take me to the next step where they vote now. I can just skip story mode. I know how to play the game (i was just enjoying reading the story) but for those learning a new game your tutorial needs to work!!
