This app has helped me obtain so many cards I never expected to be able to get! From friends being stingy to opening countless numbers of the same packs with no luck, I needed this! I have realized my ideal collection, a card and a few seconds at a time, thanks to PokeTrade! Love this app and I can’t recommend it enough!

This app could be great but it’s so NON USER FRIENDLY. There is little to no direction… everything about the layout is unclear and confusing, my wishlist? Other players wishlist? My listed for trade, community players cards listed for trade? Who knows??? Which list is the list of all my cards? For IOS users having to screen record every time you get a new card to update things is so tiedious and I know that is not the app developers fault but it kinda just adds to the already established difficulty of figuring out what cards you have listed from your own collection, what is hidden, I wish there were more clearly defined sections within the whole entire app, in every single aspect. Not being able to simply figure out what is what - honestly just makes me regret the significant amount of time spent and now wasted uploading my thousands of cards, it feels futile and pointless. Again I think I the app has a lot of potential but for new users or even kids who wish to use the app, everything seems to be too confusing to even bother. I’d love to see the entire app updated.

Update: Love the new feature where after to watch an ad to get best match, and you’re on the clock, another random ad will pop up and interrupt what you’re doing, for no apparent reason. This app is the worst. We really need some competition in this space. Update: Removing another star. This app is essentially unusable without paying for the subscription. 90% of the time you watch an ad (which is required to do nearly everything), the ad doesn’t register and you need to watch another. I’m sure it’s totally unintentional and not just pure greed. Every update seems to bring more ways to try to squeeze money from people, and more bugs. The app has become extremely slow and buggy. I was even paying for the subscription, but I’m not doing that anymore.

Amazing capabilities, poor interface

The real star of the app is the backend. The frontend clearly isn’t written with native APIs and suffers for it. However, it’s worth it as the app has the best system for matching up users and finding the exact trade you’re looking for. The wishlist to offering matching is exactly what I was hoping for. Being able to turn off matching is extremely helpful to not be spammed while you can’t trade anyway. I have tried the other iOS trading apps and websites, but this was the best I’ve found so far. As for the UI: it can be clunky, and buggy. Particularly on non iOS platforms (but even on iOS). Sometimes tab pages can get stuck and layered on each other. The pull to refresh animation is jarring. Scrolling on macOS requires a click to drag and text fields are buggy. And just overall the UI looks out of place on iOS. Despite the UI the usefulness of the app can’t be understated, and it still gets a good rating from me. Will be submitting plenty of feedback as I hope it improves.
