I like that I can see my paycheck ahead of time, but I have to track my hours every day and it’s the same for me each day. I want to be able to save the hours I track as a prefixed entry and/or duplicate past entries. I also want to be able to type in the start/end times instead of having to using the scroll feature. These 2 changes would make it much more pleasant to track my hours. Thanks.
So far so good

I have this through my employer and didnt even know it, didn’t know it did cash advances. Now I can ditch these other ones that just take your money and membership fees and screw you over. I got denied a credit card cause I had too many cash advances out and I did have too many cause I got in a situation where I needed them and once your stuck in the cycle it’s hard to break!!! Set up was easy, and one of the perks of this payroll company! I can’t believe I didn’t know about this sooner!
Developer Response
Hi there! We’re so glad to hear this, and really appreciate you sharing your experience! It’s great to know Gusto’s cash advance feature helped break that cycle and made things a little easier for you. Thanks for being part of the Gusto community. We’re happy you discovered this perk!
Time tracker
LessTrouble
The mobile time tracker includes break time in the total time while it is counting. The website does not do this. On the website, the time tracker shows only the time that counts toward your paycheck. On mobile, it combines work time and break time into one long period, and only separates them when you clock out. At that point, it adds only the paid time to the final total.
Developer Response
Hi! Thanks for sharing this. We understand how the difference between mobile and web time tracking can be confusing. On mobile, breaks are separated after you clock out and only paid time is counted toward your total. Not reliable enough, not fast enough
Contreramanjaro
Multiple times now the app has refused to load in the middle of the day requiring me to submit a correction. That’s just not quite good enough when I’m wasting time trying to track time. No one is reimbursing me or my boss for the lost time, so please work on reliability. If we can go three months without an issue like this, I’ll revise the score. I’m on an iPhone 17 Pro with a 100meg fiber connection and 5G+ as a back up, don’t blame this on me.
Developer Response
Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re sorry to hear about the app performance issues and understand the impact this can have on your time. Please connect with our support team through the Help tab in your Gusto account so we can look into this further.
