  • Good concept but not accurate.

I like the apps design and the purpose of it, but it’s not always accurate. Sometimes you’ll see that the time remaining is waaayyy off. It can be fixed each time by going to the settings and switching the complication from “Hours until 0%” to “Battery %” and then back again. But the fact you have to do this (a few times a day sometimes) takes time I’m not willing to spend. It’s not much time but I can use math in my head to determine how much longer I have left faster. It’s frustrating because I want to love the app but I can’t having to do this extra task. I was really hoping to use this instead of my stock battery complication. I downloaded this the minute the developer announced it on reddit. So it’s not due to the app not having long enough to to calibrate. It actually seemed to get worse as the calibration got “better” according to the app itself.

Hi,I am sorry that you are having issues with the app complication not updating. This bug occurred with only a few people, making it very hard to debug. This issue should be fixed in the latest update. I hope you can give my app another try! Thanks,Joshua Bird

  • Helped me @ the Apple Store

I can’t tell how effective Battery Grapher is at predictions, but it certainly helped me at the Apple Store when my battery indicator was acting weirdly. Basically, for hours on end, my watch appeared to be stuck at 100% charge, although I knew it wasn’t. Then it would suddenly plummet into power reserve mode. I took screen shots of the BG graphs and showed them to the person helping me and he immediately grasped the problem. The BG graphs were a close match to the diagnostics the Apple person ran on the watch and they accepted my watch for repair. It was my second attempt at the Apple Store. The first time I didn’t have the BG evidence and I got no satisfaction.

Wow that’s incredible! I am glad that my app was able to help you in such a practical way. I never even imagined that my app could be used for something like that!

  • I really want to love this app.

And I do in theory. It’s just not accurate at all. For instance right now it’s telling me I have 70hrs and my battery level is at 27. When I open the complication it even shows that I have less than 24 hours. If the info was accurate this would be a 5 star review. I appreciate the work that goes into it and when the app works it’s actually very helpful. Unfortunately that is a rare occurrence. Not going to delete it yet. I’m gonna give it a little more time for some updates but if the accuracy is still way off I’m deleting.Update- It doesn’t work. The complication doesn’t update when I charge my watch. It’ll show I only have a few hours with a fully charged battery. Please fix this. If the app was free I wouldn’t care but I eagerly paid for this and I just wish it worked. I like the idea of what it’s actually supposed to do.Update part 2-Thank you for the reply! I changed it to a 5 star rating as it should be!I appreciate the hard work!

Hi, I am extremely sorry that you are experiencing issue with the app. The app can get into a state where the complication does not update, which can be fixed by restarting the watch. I am sorry about that bug with the app, it only happens on rare occasions so it was difficult to debug. This problem should also be fixed in the most recent update.Once again I am very sorry about the problems you are experiencing and I hope this will solve your issue.

  • Can’t tell if it works.

Edit: it doesn’t work at all. The complication (which I consider the most important part of any watch app) makes no sense. The numbers still go up and down seemingly randomly. The app itself may be accurate but I don’t want to open up the app every time I look at my watch. The correct information should be visible in the complication. And the accuracy is allegedly “ok”, so that shouldn’t be the issue. I really have no idea if this app works or not. The numbers it displays show no rhyme or reason. They go up and down or stay put and make no sense. They almost seem randomly generated. When I open the app, the only thing I see is the accuracy is bad. I wrote the dev a question on Reddit and got no reply. I can’t recommend buying this. Hopefully it will improve and won’t have been a waste of money.

  • Love It!

    Blinddaddy

I would give the app 5 Stars if it worked on all the devices it is supposed to work. I love this app on my iPhone and iPad, it gives me great insights into my battery health and great metrics to follow as to battery drainage. My experience on my Apple Watch Ultra has been less pleasing. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app twice in four months but I never get an accuracy measurement greater than bad. I don’t charge my watch every night but it can never get the accuracy level to change. Thanks for a good app for the phone and tablet. I wish the app worked as well on the watch.

  • Super cool watchOS app

I wear my watch as much as possible and up to now guessing when to charge my watch has always been a guessing game. This app is awesome and with complications support extremely useful. One note, let it gather stats for awhile beforehand. It takes a few days for the app to figure out usage. The app will tell you when it thinks it’s got good data. The custom notifications on the watch are very handy. When I workout I like to track gps and health stats, so having a trigger on xx hours before it’s dead is pretty handy.
