KNOW WHEN THE RAIN STARTS
A minute-by-minute chart of the next hour shows when rain starts, peaks, and stops. You know if you have time to walk the dog or if you should wait ten minutes.
FORECASTS FOR YOUR DAY AND YOUR WEEK
Hour by hour: temperature, feels-like temperature, rain chance, wind, and UV index. You choose which details appear and how many hours ahead you see. Day by day: highs and lows up to 16 days ahead. Today's sunrise and sunset times are there too.
ALERTS BEFORE THE WEATHER CHANGES
Choose what you want to hear about: rain one hour before it starts, rain ending, snow, heat, frost, strong wind, high UV, or a sharp change in temperature. Add a morning or evening summary at the time you pick. Official severe weather alerts for your area appear with your forecast.
LIVE WEATHER MAPS
Watch rain move on the live radar and play the timeline. Switch to another layer when you need it: wind, temperature, cloud cover, lightning, tropical cyclones, air quality, wildfires, ocean, or earthquakes.
AIR QUALITY AND UV
See the air quality index with PM2.5, PM10, ozone, NO2, SO2, and CO, and clear advice on whether it is a good time to be outdoors. The UV index comes with sun protection advice.
WHAT TO WEAR
On devices with Apple Intelligence, Weather + suggests what to wear for the current conditions.

first off this app is amazing because if you kid or younger sibling let’s say is interested in the weather this is a good app for that! it is not inappropriate parents! if you would like to know if there is bad weather get this app! if you would also like to know if today was a good day to wear shorts get it! i also remembered one time i wanted to wear pants but i wasn’t sure if it was going to be warm or cold, (it was spring) but i checked the weather, (this app) and it told me that it was going to be 78 degrees. so i realized that i should wear shorts and not pants. THANK YOU, WEATHER ❣️💗🙏
Not worth demise of Dark Sky

I loved Dark Sky which was acquired by Apple and was supposed to be incorporated into Apple Weather. Unfortunately, many of my favorite features of Dark Sky aren’t found in Apple Weather even though they killed Dark Sky. I ride bikes a lot and want to know current and projected wind speed and direction. Even though I have the premium version, I don’t get hourly wind direction. Additionally, I loved that Dark Sky had the Doppler radar satellite mapping thing so you could see the rain coming and going. This doesn’t have that either. It does have a way higher price—so that’s awesome. If I’m missing these features because they just aren’t easy to find or readily available, please let me know. Or maybe just resurrect Dark Sky?

This app is honestly the best thing ever. I can always track what the weather is going to be and it helps me decide what I can wear depending on the weather and even better, it shows you the daily forecast so you can be prepared for anything. It allows you to change places so even if you are traveling, you can still get an accurate forecast. If you don’t already have this app installed, you better get it right away I highly recommend it.

It has an hour by hour of wind icon that comes with the free basic. You go into settings in app and turn it on. So far so good. I don’t like to pay for weather apps because I I find after a while they become inaccurate. And I don’t want a pop up add every time I want to view anything. I just want one screen that shows the rain and wind by hour. And this has it! Perfect. Exactly what I needed!
