I really wanted to like this app, but it just didn’t work for me. Going through the reviews, it felt like most of them were sponsored, but I decided to download it and try it for myself. It asks you to select categories you’re interested in but is extremely limited in those categories. There wasn’t a category for gaming or entertainment which is my niche. It then creates a playlist just for you which you can’t access without paying. I’m not opposed to paying for apps, the dev has to make money for their hard work. But I don’t like going into a free app finding out I can’t try it at all before paying. However, the price is affordable so I bought it. And I wish I hadn’t. While there are over 40 playlists, they all feature mostly the same songs. The “personalized” playlist isn’t unique compared to the other playlists. The top song on the “new trends” category are already saturated with over 1.2 Million videos. The lowest has 349k videos. I don’t feel the app has the predictability it needs to find sounds that are less saturated but on the rise, and therefore can’t justify the price. There wasn’t a trend on this app that I haven’t found by scrolling through the fyp. The dev seems like an active, hardworking guy so I’d be happy to revisit in time if the predictability factor improves. Until then, it’s just not for me. On the other hand, if you don’t care to scroll through the for you page and want an easy way to find trending sounds, this is 100% a helpful app.

I think the app has some advantages of what’s been popular lately. But if you’ve been going on tiktok for a daily, then there’s really no use for this app. HOWEVER, i haven’t used the premium edition so i can’t say for sure if it’s really worth it or not. In my opinion, it’s not. When giving the opportunity to test a free trial for the premium edition, it automatically charged me the $30 to get a premium membership annually. It CLEARLY stated that to press this button for a free trial, and I’m paying $30 to get a premium membership for a year as a “free trial”?? I don’t think so. I tried contacting you guys to give me a refund as you have given people poor choice of words to try a “free trial” on the app; and the email address of yours is invalid.Change the choice of wording for a free trial and maybe people would join, first and foremost.

Introducing TrendTok V4! We've listened to all your feedback, and rebuilt the app from the ground up with that in mind.
New Features:
- TrendTok AI V4 - we rebuilt our AI to take a deeper dive into niches, our beta testers have seen a massive gain in views due to this.
- Search page V2 - our search engine was starting to become very sluggish. We tossed out the old one and built a new one to be much snappier.
- Load times - no more waiting for a sound to load forever! We've brought down load times to below 1 second.
- Album favoriting - users can now favorite an album. Favorited albums will appear in their own section on the top of the home screen.
- Niche level hashtags - we now return all trending hashtags on the album/niche level. Check it out by tapping on any album!
- Albums page - we added a new vertical view of albums. This will help our users discover new albums.
- Learning Center - learn how to grow your social media presence.
- Business Mode - see which sounds are available for commercial use.
- TikTok SEO - get ahead of the NEW TikTok algorithm by spotting trending keywords.
- AI Hashtag Generator - use AI to generate top performing TikTok Hashtags.
- AI Time To Post - use AI to know when is the best time to post.
- Small Bug Fixes - we want to make sure the app works on every version of iOS.
