If you are a Commercial Broker who lists Commercial properties this company and App are to be avoided. As soon as CoStar bought LoopNet they took everything good about LoopNet and put it into their CoStar App, which requires an expensive subscription. Prior to that acquisition this service was OK and it would lead to a couple of deals a year. In the years (3) since the acquisition LoopNet hasn’t lead to one deal, despite myself paying a $500 a month Premium “Lister” fee. CoStar turned LoopNet into the best way to connect with unsophisticated Tenants who will waste your time and never make a deal. All legitimate inquiries (Brokers and sophisticated Tenants) now come through CoStar. To make matters worse you must pay to make the information you put into LoopNet available to the general public. LoopNet often fails to provide those Premium Services, but never fails to bill for those services. If you spend a bunch of time complaining about the fact that your not getting the service your paying for, they will reactivate the service and then lie to you and tell you they will send you a credit to your account, (you will never get a refund, one time they overcharged me $2,500 for a month’s service that wasn’t provided, and best they would do was a credit), they won’t actually do the refund unless you spend a bunch more time forcing CoStar/LoopNet to live up to its commitment. Watch out for fine print in agreements! Premium services can only be cancelled within 60 days of the anniversary of your annual subscription, which means you may have to wait up to 10 months to cancel. The Salespeople that will call and try and upsell you on premium services are 100% dishonest and will tell you whatever you want to hear to make a sale, regardless of whether it is true. Final warning, this company is also trying to sell its services to Landlords and property owners. To do this, Salespeople will often call and tell Landlord’s the Broker who is paying LoopNet for the listing (unpaid are invisible) isn’t paying for the right service, claiming that Landlord isn’t getting the exposure they would get if they were to subscribe directly. They will then try and sell the Landlord the same package the Broker is already paying LoopNet for, usually at a higher rate.

I want to love this app. It does the basics and I like that. There problem is primarily that the app loses state during every session. I will use the app for 10 minutes and it will ask me to log back in and then hang. I have to close and reopen the app to get it to log me in again. This makes every experience with the app tedious. This is a brand impacting problem.As a secondary issue, the app has poor privacy disclosures. It is unclear how they are using personal data. This must be cleared up.Two stars for the basics. I’ll revise if/when the app shows real improvement.

There is only one review & it is negative, but the person did not say exactly what actually happened. Can’t rate adequately, maybe the person was suppose to try a trial first for a few days, but didn’t understand the connection process. Try again and if no response contact the software company by email or phone immediately! Good Luck!

The app never saves your search criteria, it resets to all properties instead of what my filter is every time the app restarts. And if the filter choices were permanently saved, the notifications would work properly therefore giving the right filtered property notification and results. There is also some of the properties don’t have the prices listed for them. If these can are fixed, your app will be way more efficient and more appealing to your customers. there is no doubt in my mind that this will make this app way more effective, efficient, reliable, and up to date with uploading and removing listings.
