Had tried to join up before arriving in NZ. Was unable, but assumed it was security due to my location outside NZ. Upon arriving I’ve tried many times to join up without success. Each time giving the same error as before I was physically in NZ. I don’t have a local phone number, so that may be the issue. Odd thing these days with most people having WhatsApp or other messaging platform that allow travelers to keep their home number for communication abroad. I was hoping to sell a camera while traveling around, and maybe pick up a lens or camera, but no such luck even joining, much less listing. I’m unsure if this is actually a non- NZ phone number error or something else since the error gives no information. Just says server response error. So not very helpful in identifying what I need to fix to join.
