I have used google translate for many years. Early on mostly on my computer but now we all use our phones more. I love the history feature but it would be so helpful if I could download my history to practice in other ways. If I could sort the history in alphabetical order then I could find terms unused before more easily. Maybe there is some way to connect google translate to another app like the old apple HyperCard app
Google translate has always been better than Apple translate. Even on my iPhone it’s better than Apple’s native translation app. I can’t wait until the Pixel 10 Pro is released! Things actually are devolving at Google… have a meaningful conversation with Gemini without that same-as-my-old-phone iPhone feeling.
Honestly Google Translate is good, Espically for it being a translator app, it beats Apples Translator and Microsoft translator, Don’t tell me that being able to use your camera and be able to scan a paper and translate the app ain’t the future, come on this is also smooth and clean looking one too and with Google integration with Privacy Policy on a Translator.
The previous version of translator was working better for translation. The new features that you came up with in the conversation Peace works pretty good if it could pick up the translation properly please mix the old with the new and I believe this will be an excellent translation system
I used the app regularly to help me learn French. The last update messed up the landscape orientation on my iPhone 14 running iOS 18.5. The landscape orientation is square. The background is squeezed and the translations are squeezed into the square. It’s a jumbled mess.
I have been using Google Translate for a long time. The latest versions are even better, because in previous versions there was no option to switch languages when using a microphone.
