Sound Brawls were nearly silent — you'd hear the commentary and almost nothing else. Punches, impacts and hit reactions are back, music now keeps playing through the fight, and the commentator has learned to shut up: he only speaks at the moments that matter, with real silence in between. Fights Creatures now bring the right avatar into the arena — several cards were sending the wrong character in. Fights also close faster: knockback ramps up in sudden death and the AI stops turtling as the clock runs, so matches end in a real hit instead of a timeout.

Combat Fights no longer grind to the time limit. Knockback now escalates separately from damage in sudden death, and the AI grows impatient as the clock runs — it blocks 38% less and closes distance faster, so matches open up instead of being cut short. Point-blank mage attacks connect (a 62 cm dead zone in front of the caster meant they did nothing), and the beam now reads in the mage's own archetype green. Commentary The phrase bank went from 191 lines to 409, with 1586 voice clips. Frequent moments — summons, sets, turn starts — more than doubled to kill the audible repetition. New: a welcome at the duel's open and a sign-off at the close, situational lines that read the game state rather than the action, archetype-advantage calls that name the archetype, and reactions to every arena pickup. The brawl went from emitting 6 of 22 commentary events to 15.
