We have doing bedtime math for a few months now. It is great for reading practice, content ( the problems are based on relevant and interesting topics), critical thinking and , of course, math skill practice. It is more of a cooperative activity for the whole family, although older kids could do it on their own. We had been receiving daily emails or going to the website. Just downloaded the new app- wow! Loved it , very easy to use. Really like the way the different problems and answers are organized. Also easy to access previous problems. Thanks Bedtime math!

The idea is simple yet brilliant - make math as cuddly, fun and commonplace as a bedtime story. My daughter was annoyed the first night I introduced this to her bedtime routine, accepting the second night, and by the third night she wanted math before her story. It has completely transformed my daughter's attitude towards math.We do the problems together and I let her see me struggle while I think through each step out loud so that she knows it's ok and even fun to wrestle with math challenges. I've told every teacher I know to introduce bedtime math to their students' families.

The old app was a little clunky but had fun bouncing symbols when you got questions right. This new app has a lot more functionality but we would love the fun appearing elements (always love the oinking pig!!). We’ve been using this app for probably 6+ years at this point! It’s nice and bite-size for before bed.Edit: thank you for the response!! We're huge fans :-)

I love the idea and the app. It's very easy to use and the problems are so fun and engaging. One feature that I feel is missing though is having functional links like the website. The problems often reference videos, images, past problems, etc. and it would be nice to be able to click through and see them.

I don’t have littles anymore, but I highly recommend this free app to the parents of my students. I love the stories and math problems every night. Kids love it and it may help raise math test scores. Using this will help children build confidence in their mathematical abilities. It is also a great daily language booster. One of the best apps!

Can't believe this is free, it's excellent! We have one of the books and this is essentially just like the book, but updated daily so it never gets old. It even has bonus problems! I'm very impressed by it and so are my 6 and 3 year olds! We all love to do it every night!
