The game is from a small indie dev group that has enjoyed steady updates to the UI, roster, towers, and ways to grow to progress. In-App purchases are not required to grow, but are pretty fair like the no ads forever pack. Even still, you can play this game without ever buying something. The artwork is colorful, and the game balance rewards different experimentation with gear sets and tower combinations. Best of all, there is no PVP or Guild stuff weighing down the P2P powercreep. While I have purchased packs, I do so to support the dev team. They are friendly and active in discord. They also implement suggestions from players. Try this game, join discord, and enjoy.

Pros and cons cancel each other out

.IO games are solid and tend to get better over time but even then it would be 4/5. The tower defense is fun but once you shortly get the grip of it it doesn’t stand out from regular TD games from a mechanical and a little lacking in the customization POV although the graphics, animations and feel is good as they always are. Low gatcha rates at expensive prices is a .IO staple. After 3 days I can say the tower rate drops aren’t balanced as I often had difficulty getting the stronger towers to appear and had just a hard time leveling. Out of the 5 towers/ skills you can get each game you often rely on 1 or 2 of those choices so RNG plays a heavy roll especially when your option are only the lower powered towers for 15+ levels. Auto targeting won’t switch to threats once it locks on cause multiple losses and over killing targets are both pitfalls most TD games avoid. Lastly as I said earlier if the devs keep up this game will be 4/5 hopefully better but as is it is a fun pick up and play for a few days and move on.

I’ve been playing daily for the last two months. The game is addictive and fun! Wish more content and events took place. The micro transactions are too high to justify. I got a 24hr offer for a red laser beam weapon for $75!! I would have gotten it for $40 maybe $50 but as someone who spends on every game I play I refuse to spend more than $50 for anything single mobile game related micro.

Very glitchy

In game the upgrades won’t allow me to select , the. The game phantom upgrades it while not allowing the towers to Upgrade staying at one star the whole time , doesn’t matter how many times I upgrade something. Got stuck in a level for a while because the boss glitches and stayed atop the screen barely in view, luckily I had spells to slowly kill him as he wasn’t moving , and it was a final boss. Lots of bugs to work through , don’t understand the kill enemies daily challenge for the pass when it doesn’t register anything . Lots of bugs to fix !
