The app is slow and clunky at times. Freezing, stuttering, and jumbling peoples posts. But honestly, for something trying to emulate that old school internet blogpost style it works in its favor. Everything feels so small and interconnected. When I get 3 responses my eyes light up because it feels like a LOT. The feed moves slow enough that I can really sit down and consume whats in front of me. And the nature of “recommendations” and “asks” instead of basic posts encourages participation. I’ve been having a blast.
So slow and frustrating

I sincerely love this app and the community on it, but with each update it seems to just get slower and slower. Things take too long to load after pressing buttons, so I end up avoiding certain features like lists or bookmarks. I frequently have to tap things multiple times for them to occur. I understand this app is small and does not have the same resources as others to deploy fixes and improvements, but I strongly suggest the creators prioritize functionality and smoothness over any other modifications right now as it is becoming off-putting even as someone who cares about the app. I have invited users who unfortunately did not stick around because the app was clunky and annoying to use.
Developer Response
We've made some big strides with app stability / speed since January! So sorry about the jankiness along the way, but it's our #1 goal right now to get the app feeling snappy.
Bug

I really like this app, but recently—a few months ago at least, the app turned black on the widget on my Home Screen that I usually have on, and when i enter the app it asks for my email, even though I’m already signed in. When i enter my email, it says “login failed.” I’ve tried reinstalling the app but it isn’t working, and I don’t know what to do, because i miss scrolling through it.
fresh idea, excited for this :-)

a little slow+when scrolling sometimes glitches jumps back which is a little frustrating when i find a post i like and then it keeps jumping back and i lose the post. BUT overallt i really do enjoy using this app and like how its set up. some features id like to see is maybe more related to location? like choosing a location in the world and seeing what users there are discussing& sharing. its only been 24 hours of me using it but i think ima stick with this one. looking forward to more improvements!
- fixed the home feed scroll bug that could make cards jump, loop, or feel stuck
- fixed inline song previews and image modals
- feed cards should feel smoother, with better image sizing,
cleaner media loading, and sharper thumbnails
- text-only feed cards now show more before "read more"
- liking, commenting, and feed actions are more consistent
across card types
- maps got a big upgrade: richer place cards, "rec from here," and easier ways to save places
- you can add multiple places to a list at once
- posting is smoother, with better smart suggestions and safer media handling
- onboarding is clearer and friendlier
- light/dark mode, navigation, tabs, and profile surfaces got polish
- added a bunch of under-the-hood fixes and qa coverage for deep links, media, networking, sentry, feeds, and onboarding
