Awesome (Almost Perfect)

I really like this app, given the state of the current visionOS, this is invaluable to have quick shortcuts to your most used apps. I wish that it would allow me to pick any app that I have installed, but maybe this is some kind of a limitation in the operating system? Shortcuts are good alternative, but I don’t like that the shortcut window stays after the app has launched. Again, this is not aboutthe fault of this app just highlighting some of the room for improvement wherever possible. I love the fact that I have a battery percentage and clock and volume slider. This is so great. Please add more apps to the database such as Reality Player, Moon Player and Widgetsmith.

Thanks, glad you like the app! Yes, unfortunately we can only open apps that expose a system launch URL, which can be rare on iPhone and iPad apps, and is even more rare on most visionOS apps. I'm hoping Shortcuts will get a major visionOS upgrade this year to make that solution much nicer and not have to popup the Shortcuts window everywhere.I just added Widgetsmith to the database, I'm in the process of contacting the developers for Moon Player and Reality Player to see if they can add a launch URL to a future update.

I was hesitant about purchasing this app, but after using the free version for two weeks, it became invaluable. It’s something Apple should have added and probably will add in the future. But, in the meantime, $10 for a lifetime subscription as well worth the price. To the developer: you’ve done a very nice job. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the great review! I definitely have more updates planned as the platform evolves. The next visionOS makes some great improvements to launching apps, but I still find myself keeping AirLauncher around as a persistent dock with all my most used apps.
