Nightfall: Kingdom Frontier TD is an adventure strategy tower defense game. It's a game about building a kingdom during the day and defending it from waves of attackers at night. Every day you spend coins turning little nodes in the landscape into structures: arrow towers and walls for defense, houses, mills, and farmlands for growing your economy. Some structures straddle the line between defense and economy. You can choose when building a mill, whether you want extra coin production or a mill that explodes when attacked causing damage. This game provides an excellent item system, hundreds of weapons and the defenses are divided into several different maps.
The kingdom is built around a central hall, and this is the building that you're protecting at night when waves of enemies appear. You can ride out on your horse and lead the battle, and you can also rely on arrows from your arrow towers, and troops, which are created at any barracks you build, and which can then be led around and placed in useful spots with a few simple button presses. At night you defend, and every morning you get a shower of coins from any economy buildings you have and any coin-bearing monsters you've defeated, and you spend these coins on making your kingdom bigger.

Whenever I try to watch an ad, the ad doesn’t show the x button to exit it out when it’s finished. I end up exiting the app and not getting the reward. sometimes even losing energy for exiting when choosing the Purple boost which you have to watch an ad, it’s better not to watch ads. The game itself is 5 star but the ad system is ruining it for me. The rewards are tempting but the ads are so long which can take to 1-2 mins of your time not including doing it multiple times a day. You are force to buy the permanent ad which cost 20 dollars. Some companies should lower the cost to minimum of 10 dollars for it to be worth it for a casual gamer like me. Thank you for creating a fantastic game that I enjoy. I don’t usually write long reviews but doing so will boost my chances of improving my gameplay.
Complete rip-off and bad features and design
Sentient Human Being
This game is obviously a complete rip off of throne fall, I’ve played the game for a total for 30 seconds and it looks trash, buns, and doggy dookie. Like brother, what in the world is that kings guy animation?! Bros not a snake dude. Lazy animations, could’ve done better, and why is the screen constantly upside down? I’m not in stranger things dude. This is obvious a complete TRASH, LOW EFFORT, CASH GRAB, BOTTED, COPY version of ThroneFall, it’s an indie game on steam that ACTUALLY has SOUL put into it, I’ve seen copy’s of it before, but this is somehow WORSE than those. The animations look like they were made in POWERPOINT and the art looks like it was made in MS PAINT, it’s obviously just a cash grab stealing the idea of throne fall and slightly changing it and making it worse to seem like it isn’t a copy, even though it’s blatantly is. And 4.9 stars? Half of the 5 star reviews are talking like robots, like “I totally think you should give a try.” What human being says that?!? ThroneFall is a fun and good game that has hours of fun and unique content and this “game” is just a piece of garbage compared to it, this game is just like Kingshot and the other copy’s, low effort, trash, cash grab, horrible design, blatant copy of throne fall that cant even make itself good.

If you want a better version of this game/ripoff, go play Thronefall. It’s 10-20 dollars on steam last time I checked.This is a very obvious ripoff of a small indie game called throne fall. It’s even evident in the ads. The prices for buildings are the exact same as throne fall. The economy is the same, and the combat is also pretty much the same! The only redeeming aspect is the fact that it has potential, but that is because it stole from a game that already was proven to have and utilized it’s potential. On top of this, the game these devs stole from doesn’t seem to have a very large fanbase, so these developers probably think that they can easily get away with this borderline theft. The game itself doesn’t even improve on the game it is a copy of. In fact, it feels clunky, the audio not directly ripped from throne fall almost makes me want to go deaf, and even with all of its problems, it has micro transactions that are nearly forced because of the unfair difficulty scaling. This “game” doesn’t even give any credit to the original devs or say that it’s inspired by throne fall. It’s just a sad, worse ripoff of a great game.
My favorite game

This is my favorite game in years for my phone. You can play offline, you’re never forced to watch ads, the game is fun and enjoyable and everything is achievable without paying any real money. However, my big gripes are:1) The advertised pictures for the game are sorta close, but it’s not the real game. Why mislead people? The core game is actually really good.2) After some time, it becomes very repetitive. I’m waiting for the next major difficult challenge. I’m on Map 11, and I think after the 3rd or 4th one you don’t see any new enemies. Just increased numbers and they get stronger. The maps look different artistically but you really have the same few templates that you rotate between. Some new and cool enemies would be great. Give a dragon? Hydra? There’s so many enemies you could come up with. Make countering certain enemies determine how I play each round. As of now the same strategy works for 100% of all stages.
