I’m loving this app and the format of this study. The power of the lesson is compact and simple, making it easy and doable for me. But more importantly, I have such good, thoughtful application to think on all day. It’s very nourishing for me and not overwhelming at all. I love the format with a gentle prayer, a lesson, a quick quiz, a place of application to consider, then followed up with a place to jot down my insights and intentions. I’ve found it to be very effective in my relationship with the Lord. Feeling closer to Him to than I have in a long time. There’s also a great search feature that helps me dive into more encouraging scripture and thoughtful insight on days when I want to dig deeper. Best online study I’ve participated in. It doesn’t replace the deeper inductive studies, but it enriches my heart and has made a big difference in how I start each day. I find I keep coming back to what I read in the morning throughout the day as I ponder how God would like to continue to lead me. I feel like I’m hearing more clearly. Probably because I’m spending more consistent time with the Lord…and this app truly fosters that because of its simplicity in function and powerful content. Having been a believer for 35 years, I have to say I didn’t expect this level of enjoyment, but I love it.

I experienced a devastating divorce and then entered a relationship of secret that ended up with walking through cheating on his part. This app kept popping up in my feed and I genuinely thought I didn’t wanna pay for another subscription to something. But the timing and with finding out what I did it was an act of desperation to find a way to heal. I’m the type of person that will start a journal and not pick it up again for a year. I can’t say a couple days haventgone between being consistent, but for the most part since starting this app I have been consistent. I can already see a shift change in my mindset. I swear I feel like the devotionals and everything are geared directly to me and I know that they’re made for others I have shared this with many people and even if your codependency is with a family member our friend and it’s not a romantic relationship. This app will help you to fully rely on the only one who will never break your trust.

When I first heard about this app, it was through an ad on either Instagram or TikTok promoting that this app was “free” and helped with consistency in your walk with Christ. I really liked the idea so I downloaded it. After going through this whole process of putting in my information, creating an account, and then basically taking a survey about what areas I wanted to focus on to personalize my plan, I’m taken to a page where I have to choose a subscription. From what I had gathered from the ad, this was supposed to a free app, so imagine my confusion. Not only that, but the subscription plans are expensive and there isn’t even an option to use a “free version” with limited features or anything of that nature, and the free trial that I was offered was only for 3 days. Needless to say, pretty disappointed. If the app is subscription based and not actually free, why is it being promoted as free? Because it’s free to download? That’s deceiving. The moment a person downloads this app, they should be given the subscription screen first so that they can make a decision if they want to pay and therefore continue, rather than have them go through this whole process of creating a personalized plan and then telling them “are you going to commit to your plan?” only to then say “oh yeah, you actually gotta pay to even access the plan you just created.”

I thought this app was helpful but is it really worth TWENTY A MONTH?? As a new Christian that has serviced some serious trauma this was helpful. Unfortunately as a now single mother in lite of said trauma I simply can’t not afford the $20 a month. I have found many other app that are a lot kinder on their price, offer a free version and have an extended free trial lasting a full week. Bible chat offers the exact same type of program only they have a free version AND. a paid version. Only difference between the two is you can customize the paid one a little more than the free one but BOTH are great. There is also calm and breeze that if you are under the care of a mental health provider you can have an extended free trial for a YEAR! These are companies that actually care about people. I don’t know about you but I would rather support a company that truly cares about those it’s trying to help vs a company that clearly does not. This comes with a three day trial and NO FREE OPTION!! After completing your three days you are locked out of doing anything on the app. I would submit a picture but unfortunately there is no option. I can’t even go back and see the notes I took during the free trial….what a waste!! Try one of the many other options I highly recommend Bible Chat!
