An amazing speech practicing app. The AI bot is very contextual and can respond to any input. There are some bugs though where it gets stuck in a loop, says weird things, stops mid sentence, or fails to prompt me. I’m also not a fan of the timer kicking you out when it times down. It would be great if I was just prompted aside from the pop up at the bottom asking if I want to continue or just have the AI bot ask after a certain time.

I really enjoy Pingo AI. I think there has been many improvements but also many bugs along the way. Sometimes the transcript doesn’t load or you’ll say it and the transcript has you saying it right but pingo tells you to try again. I hope there is many more additions and improvements in the future because the speaking practice is helpful! But I’m not sure if I’d pay for it again until it’s bug free!

I really like the app—especially being able to study my own curated vocabulary. But the premade Chinese colors lesson is inaccurate. For example, it teaches just “red” instead of “red color,” which is how you’d correctly say it in Chinese. Also, the speech recognition is buggy—it sometimes doesn’t register what I say at all, and other times marks me correct when I say nothing.

So I tried it cause i wanted to learn Japanese, I was done doing the five minute intro chat and I wanted to learn some more, when I clicked the button for it it was blank and kicked me back to the screen that let me choose normal chat or roleplay, I clicked roleplay and it did the same thing, PLEASE FIX THIS BUG!!!!!!

Great app it’s super helpful! i even recommended it to my mother, however please fix the bugs. i keep having to close and reopen the app so that it might work and sometimes that doesn’t even solve the issue. the ai just keeps bugging. I would recommend it more to others are rate it higher if this wasn’t such an issue 💔

Closest you can get to actually living in a country and doing real language immersion but even better because you can analyze everything that you said or what was said to get better without annoying anyone you’re talking to because it’s an AI bought. Simply crazy.
