There is a popular creator on TikTok and Instagram that does reviews on this app. I had never known what app he was using until someone commented that he was using Podiums on one of his instagram posts. I decided to give it a try and this app is fantastic! I’ve been using it non stop for the past several days. One thing worth noticing is that there are no adds on the app and they also don’t make you pay any subscriptions to use all of the apps features. How they are making money I’m not really sure. The premise of this app is simple, you search up any song, album, artist, movie, tv show, or video game and you give it a rating 1-10 and you can also write a comment on why you gave the rating. It’s weirdly addictive especially as someone who listens to a ton of music and is very passionate about music. It allows me to go back and look at how much I enjoyed stuff and give my opinion for other people. Podiums has a sort of social media aspect where you can look at other people’s rating and go to their account and follow them and look at everything they’ve rated. You can also leave comments and reactions on people’s reviews. For some reason this feature is pretty underused. It seems like people never really interact with each others ratings and not many people will go out of their way to follow you. That is my one complaint, that there isn’t much interaction on the app. Overall, I thoroughly enjoy this app though and will recommend to anyone music or movie obsessed.
Great app with one issue

So far this app has been great! I’m really enjoying ranking the albums I’ve been listening to. The only issue I’m having with the app so far is whenever I go to tap something. There’s a major delay between me tapping on an album and something happening. I don’t think it’s my phone since I’ve not had this issue in other apps. I’ve also made sure I’m on the latest version. Other than that the app is perfect. Would love some feedback if you get a chance.
Pretty cool, but one suggestion

Overall cool app, I enjoy it. One thing, if you use the feature where you choose which id two items you like more in order to rate a given item, you have to find an item down in the depths of your profile to re-rate it. As you have more and more rated items, the automatic ratings should become increasingly consistent and common. It would be ideal if there was an easier way to re-rate items, or if it would do it automatically. It would be nice to even have a dedicated re-rate screen or section or pop up or something rather than having to dig looking for it.Still nice app tho, just something to consider.
a little clunky at times

very solid app, but sometimes the search is really slow, and there are delayed reactions when clicking on artists or “write a review.”Also, there should be a simpler way to add comments to an existing review. For example, say you rate something a 9.7 without writing any comments, then come back a month later and want to add comments. The app makes you go through the whole scoring process again just to write a comment. Letterboxd is much simpler and lets you edit past reviews without having to re-input your score.
- Review cam - easily make a video with your review overlaid
- Actor pages - see all the movies/shows an actor has appeared in
- Manual mode reordering - easily rearrange reviews in manual mode (previously was just vibes mode)
