I’ve gone through so many downloads of supposedly amazing AI translation apps only to have no free trial to see if it’s at least what it claims to be or do the stupid credits system to use the product. $60 a year to use this is well worth the price for how amazing it works! I am a big fan of Japanese Movies so I am using this now to help translate movies that don’t have English subtitles. It’s an answer to my prayers! Well done!

Does not work when you need it

I purchased this service to help communicate with family members who speak another language. During a family medical emergency involving my 95-year-old father-in-law in China, I was on a FaceTime call when he fell. I could hear family members shouting and trying to explain what was happening, but the Owl Translator app repeatedly displayed an error message and failed to function despite multiple restart attempts over approximately ten minutes.The service failed during a critical situation when reliable translation was needed most. Because of this experience, I no longer have confidence in the product.
