I really love this game. It is just challenging enough to you you coming back. I didn’t start right off loving it but the more I played, the more addictive it became. The fact that the tiles are always changing their look just makes it fun. NOW THE BAD PART; I really wish the developers would cut back on the number of adds. I fully understand that they have to make money and adds are a great way for needed revenue. Please just cut back a bit, just not a long add after EVERY level. That’s the kart that will eventually drive me away from your game. Thank you for a great game and maybe you can work on the adds part. 👍🏼It’s been several weeks since my last review. I’d like to add one more minor issue that I believe the developers overlooked. Example: you win unlimited use of one of the three ( not sure what they’re actually called) things that allow you to reset, get help or undo a move arrow things. You get different FREE amounts of time to use them. The issue is, while your forced to watch those dreaded adds, the timer on your reward keep ticking away. Hence, you loosing part of your reward watching adds that you don’t want to watch anyway. I’m wondering if there is any way the timer can be stopped while the ads are running. Really irritating loosing part of your reward to ADS. Hope you can fix this, I presume, oversight.

Really love this game! I grew up playing real mahjong with my family and always swore I’d never play one of those “stupid” matching mahjong games but the ads looked too fun so I downloaded and I’m so glad I did. I really enjoy the game, and it’s a great way to relax before bed. The only thing is that there doesn’t seem to be a way to turn off the guy’s voice going “great” “unbelievable” etc whenever you start getting a few combos. I like the sound of the tiles, it’s like ASMR before bed, but the voice can get annoying. There is apparently a way to turn it off but my settings only has a way to turn off the music, all sounds (voice and tile clicking), or vibration—nothing for just the voice. Otherwise though, great game and I’d probably play it way more if I had the ability to turn the guy’s voice off!

I’ve been playing this game for a couple of weeks now and am about level 400 and something. I really like it a lot. There’s a good variety of tiles, the sounds are good. The weight of the game is good. Yes there are ads between matches sometimes, but you can swipe up and they’re gone. You just log back in. It takes a moment. I also like the amount of hints and boosts it gives you. What I don’t like is that if you hit a certain number of combos, it will auto clear the board. It does this almost every game. Rarely do I get to clear the board myself. It usually hits about 2/3 of the way through. I feel like I’m only playing half a game, because I hit that auto combo so often and then it clears the rest of the tiles for me instead of me being able to do it. It’s honestly taking fun away. I have been strategizing, trying to figure out how not to hit that combo, without luck. The other thing that I would love is water and bird sounds in the background. My previous favorite Mahjong game had water and bird sounds in the background. I loved it. That game, however, is really really stingy with boosts and scales very hard very fast in order to try to get you to watch more ads to get more boosts. This one, Mahjong blast, doesn’t do that and I appreciate it. If they made that auto clear combo thing happen less often, or gave us the ability to turn it off, and added some nice background sounds, it would be perfect. I did see on the ad in the App Store that it shows something about being able to dress kittens? If that’s actually part of the game, I’ve never seen it, so buyer beware there. Might be some false advertising going on.

Not one who writes reviews…ever. And not one to get passionate or mad over a game. So usual will simply delete a game and say no thank you move on if a game isn’t good. Thought I’d throw a tip for the mahjong gamers. Btw, have discovered that I like playing mahjong. And seem to supposedly be pretty good rating in the only 1% who can achieve that score. True or not true it seems with mahjong type game I’m swift. With that so far have kept only one mahjong game called Vita. Because I’ll try a game and quickly determine if it’s not moving smoothly and the ad precision is on point to be moving smooth. If the game is not then it’s deleted after a fair trial. This mahjong and another one tried there are probably more that have a few defects. First of all it seems with these games my skill moves pretty fast and the tiles on this one as well others stick so it slows me down to click one tile at a time with each thumb instead of the choice to simultaneously hit them. Also, there is no choice in settings to opt out of the auto finish. Plus the auto finish is terrible it does it in the beginning of the game with most the tiles still there so you’ve begun playing a split second when it finishes it for you says GREAT combo you completed and then sends back to the ads. Not cool. Also, it’s nice to periodically during a game to hear that you’re doing great when you actually are killing it….this game and others over kill it to major distraction where you can tell it’s been over programmed to say “amazing” “great” every other tile hit haha…very distracting no other way to say it.
