I was super excited when I first learned of this game. I’m not totally disappointed but I’m disappointed in the sense that the game lacks the realism that I was expecting. I’m proud that the game has the official NHRA logo and licensing. That being said I understand that the game will probably only be limited to only the tracks that are owned and operated by the NHRA, which are Indy,Gainesville and Pomona. These are all available early in the game and the accuracy of the tracks was quite good. I wish there would have been more detail to the racing aspect itself. Pro Stock cars do not pop huge wheelies and I’ve noticed that it doesn’t matter which car you’re driving but you leave skid marks all the way down the track. I will continue to play just to support the NHRA and my love for it. Just a little bummed out.

I enjoy playing this game, It’s quite addictive although the game mechanics could use some improvements to make it more realistic. If your opponent crosses the center line it should automatically result in disqualification just like any red light. It’s a bit frustrating when you lose a race to someone that is completely in your lane or entirely off the track.

Meh… It’s Disappointing

It is disappointing to say the least. No Limit Drag Racing 2.0 is on a whole other level. The development team for this game needs to do more research to be competitive with NLDR 2.0. This game lacks the NHRA Mission Foods national tour and you seem to race at the same three tracks from what I can tell. I really wish there was Sportsman classes like Stock or Super Stock or even Comp Eliminator. Maybe even Super Comp or Super Gas to learn how to use a throttle stop. The game is not very technical either with the setup like NLDR 2.0 which is a let down to me.

I had high hopes for this game, but it is just ok. The racing mechanics aren’t good. The sounds are so fake and not remotely close. The staging and leaving the line process is so overcomplicated and janky. Just make staging and launching simple and off RPMs and remove the stupid launch angle left and right. Too many races you are left in the dust by the computer because you didn’t pull power back to the perfect little sliver of RPM while also lining the arrow up straight and releasing it on time…all in 2 seconds. It’s way too over complicated.

- Added new "Pro Street Turbocharged" stats for Dobbertin 1986 with faster starts.
