2. Renewal: Your Apple iTunes account will be charged 24 hours before the expiration date, and after successful payment, the subscription service will automatically extend to the next period.

Cancel Subscription: To cancel the subscription renewal, please turn off the automatic renewal function in iTunes/Apple ID settings > iTunes & App Store > Apple ID > View Apple ID > Subscription > FicSpire. You should perform this operation at least 24 hours before the current period ends. If cancelled within 24 hours before the expiration date, the subscription fee will still be charged.

The books are interesting, and have some story lines I haven’t read before. I wish they’d have someone fluent in English proofread them, before putting them up online. While it’s easy to earn points, there comes a point where you have to buy coins. I have a problem with this where you are stuck buying points. My objection is I’m ending up paying more than it costs for a brand new hardback book that is better written. But, as I said, the stories offer new storylines that I haven’t read before and that intrigue me.

The content is extremely overpriced, the availability of ad rewards to offset the cost are nonexistent. Depending on the length of the novel at 60 coins per chapter a book can get outrageously expensive considering their coins worth is roughly a penny a coin as far as I can tell. So 60 cents to read a single chapter. Now I will say compared to similar apps I’ve tried the chapters are considerably longer than I’ve experienced with their competitors apps. Even with that fact though it’s still extremely expensive. If you want to sell books then price the entire book not the individual chapters. You’re attempting to sell content that is most likely produced by AI at an unreasonable premium. It’s disgusting and sad really how money hungry this world has become. Please choose to be a part of the solution instead of continuing to add to the problem.

The very first thing upon downloading and opening the app, and then finding the chapter where I left off, I was asked to purchase coins. This was disappointing as per usual, was stated all reading is free. I knew it wouldn’t be, but I thought I would get to read some more before having to purchase coins or watch ads. I have since found the daily check in for coins as well as some bonus ways to earn coins…like writing this review. I like that it looks like you get more coins the more days you check in. Other apps do not. Time will tell if I end up keeping the app. I will update review when necessary.

Some books have really long chapters which is really nice compared to other web novel apps that are maybe 6-9 pages before needing to watch more ads to read. You do have to watch a lot of ads to unlock subsequent chapters though which is annoying. I haven’t reached a limit on how many ads I can watch to earn points yet and I’m mainly posting this to get points too to be completely honest. It’s not a bad app and the stories don’t feel as repetitive as others.
