Exposure Dose and TWA (Time-Weighted Average)
Tracks how much noise you've been exposed to over an entire session. Calculates your time-weighted average level and predicts what a full 8-hour workday would look like for your ears. Based on international NIOSH and OSHA safety standards — the same criteria used by occupational safety professionals worldwide.
Octave Band Analyzer
Real-time frequency breakdown across 10 octave bands. Don't just find out how loud it is — understand what's creating the noise. Low-frequency hum from machinery? High-frequency whistle from ventilation? Mid-frequency conversational chatter? Sondex shows it all.
Session Recording and Waveform
Record any environment and analyze it later. Scroll through the full audio waveform, zoom in on individual moments, and see exactly when noise levels spiked.
Source Timeline
Switch between the built-in microphone, Bluetooth devices, or external microphones during a session. Sondex logs which source was active at each moment — displayed as a clean interactive timeline.
PDF Reports
Every session can be exported as a detailed PDF report, including all measured parameters, location data, device information, time-based breakdowns, and automated recommendations.
Microphone Calibration
Manual or automatic offset correction. When measurement accuracy matters, you have full control.
Microphone Health Assessment
Sondex analyzes your microphone's performance during each session — detecting clipping, wind noise, self-noise levels, and frequency anomalies.
Each session receives a health score from 0 to 100.
