A Praying Life - Prayer Cards 4+

After reading the book, I started using prayer cards. This method of focused prayer worked well for my personality and I shared it with my Teen Bible Study Class. However, as a few years past, my card stack got large. I’m on the go a lot and I desired more portability. I tried to use other “flash card” apps but I didn’t keep up with the process. I’m so glad that the app integrates scriptures. I expected that I would have to type in a scripture. Bonus! I appreciate that the app integrates with my contacts and I can send a text or an email to encourage the people that I am praying for ... this too is a really sweet feature! This app is just what I’ve been desiring! Yay God! I believe this tool will help me to be more disciplined with praying for ministry and extended family ... I know this is the first release, but does this app synchronize across devices?

We are glad to learn that the App, although the first release, covers several areas and functions as well as it does. Scripture integration and maintenance via the 'Scripture Reference Library' (the list that pops up when a scripture reference is chosen), is an important (and complex!) feature, especially considering that this works in several languages with Arabic (right to left reading/writing) being added at the moment.
The App currently does not synchronize across devices. This however is a feature that is on the feature request list and likely will be added in the near future.

I am very much enjoying the app! Thank you for the work put into it so far. In addition to being able to add scripture to the different categories of scripture, which I did figure out, I would like to have the ability to add my own categories. Certain words came to my mind, such as Hope, Perseverance and Depression, that we’re not in your categories. It made me realize we all think a bit differently and being able to add categories and/or edit yours may be helpful. Thanks again!

Thank you for your feedback! Glad to hear you are enjoying the App. Work on the App is ongoing. Adding a 'subject' (or 'topic' or 'category') to the "scripture reference library" is on the list of things 'to do'.

This is a great app and something I’ve been specifically searching for. 3 things I’d love to see are 1) an Apple Watch app would be great. 2) the ability to add a one time prayer and times to pray for people on a specific day. 3) Siri shortcuts. I’d love to be able to say hey Siri start prayer etc and have it open to a specific spot.

Again great start and it has been really helpful and useful to my prayer time. I’m excited for this app to be further developed and happy to support the ministry. Thanks!

- There are currently no plans for a version on Apple Watch, but that does not mean this might not change in the future.
- When selecting Weekly or Monthly monthly in a prayer card a 'popup' with the days in the week or month should show up so specific days can be selected. Could you further explain what you mean with 'one time prayer' via the Contact form on the aprayinglife.com website?
- Due do backward compatibility the App currently does not use Siri Shortcuts. As is learned how old the oldest iOS is the users of the App use the backward compatibility will be reduced and functions alike Siri Shortcuts will be integrated.
