Great app, could use a few important bug fixes

Excellent app. Easy to use for the most part. Access to all AAFP content.

I have a couple of suggestions:
1) not logging me out every time I change apps or open the app for the first time. I was trying to use the app offline while I was on an airplane and it kept logging me out whenever I switched apps. Of course you cannot log in again without the internet connection so despite having downloaded several articles I wanted to read on the flight I was unable to access them. Would request that the app stay logged in once you are logged in to it instead of having to log in every time you open the app or switch from another app. 2) app remembering where you were last. When I exited the app and went back into it it went back to the Home Screen instead of the page of the AFP article I had been reading.

Currently using iOS 16.2 on an IPhone 11 Pro. App version (latest) - just updated last week.

D..........., ,

Inefficient and not user friendly

I have been a family practice physician for several years and have followed app trends and phone use for several different medical and non-medical uses. This app seems to currently be the preferred way to obtain and report AAFP CME, yet once again family practice physicians are being asked to use sub par tools to try to get their work done. The content is available and easy to obtain but the program has a number of bugs that make the program unsatisfactory. Top of the list of bugs is a “run-on loop” of signing in to get to quizzes only to get to the same area where you have to sign on again....over and over and over... Family practice is difficult on so many different levels, we really don’t need this “one more thing”. It should not be so difficult to keep your paid customers up to date in their profession. Fix the app.

Welcome Update

As a long time AAFP member, I can recall the time when we did not have the convenience of carrying years worth of issues of AFP on our pockets! This has always been a great way to access a fantastic journal. In my opinion, it’s even better now that a recent update allows use in BOTH portrait and landscape orientation. I happen to read AFP many times with my iPad attached to my keyboard, which is forced into a landscape orientation due to it’s design. Up until recently, it was difficult to read articles because the app on the iPad only rendered in portrait orientation. Kudos to the app design team for fixing this!
