I appreciate the ease of viewing my accounts and being able to do what I need to do. If I do get stumped, I am happy to know I can call and speak to a live person. My Family are members. I also love the protection service. It is a blessing. Been a member for over 52 years and I sincerely have appreciated the service and products I have received throughout the years. Thank you!

It has been my experience with Abound CU that just about everything I’ve tried to do has been difficult. From the online experience, the mobile app, and the mortgage loan. The only reason we stay is because we got a great rate on the mortgage loan…but at times, even that is not worth it when compared to the frustration of trying to accomplish what should be fairly simple tasks. I get a new phone, transfer all apps over with very little problem…until I get to Abound. I had FINALLY got the Face ID set up and used that to log in to it, but apparently the password data in my password manager out of date. When I tried to sign in on the new phone, I got locked out. Had to wait an hour and try again - and again. Tried the password reset, no help. Tried to log in online, locked out. Locked out everywhere. Had to come into the branch to get aced to the account. Ridiculous. I appreciate security, but things happen. People forget passwords. There HAS to be a reasonable process by which the average user can gain access to their account when it happens. Having to physically go into the bank is not reasonable.

I am a 35+ year credit union veteran with memberships at four different credit unions across the country. Between myself and my family we have multitudes of personal and business accounts across a broad range of products. I have brought multiple issues to the appropriate people, including board members, many times over the last 10 years that I’ve been a part of Abound credit Union. It literally took 10 years for them to get a PDF statement! And it still doesn’t know how to represent a withdrawal as a negative number, and a deposit as a positive number!They still don’t have commercial credit cards! I’ve spent days of my life writing feedback to help developers fix problems in their app. Mostly to no avail.So the app works if you don’t mind sucky apps but it’s definitely not the product one should expect from a billion dollar organization.To their credit, the frontline tellers, loan officers, admins, managers, etc. do their level best to represent their organization well within the policies they’ve been handed. Hats off to them! Mr. Springsteen, the president of the organization, has done a fine job of trying to herd the cats. But somewhere in the middle people aren’t listening. Honestly, they need a shake up and some old ex-govt butts need to be kicked out of seats - starting with the board.

I constantly have had problems w/ the bank & the app. I have had to watch my the account activity for all accounts due to errors, numerous errors. I believe they are using work from home inexperienced ,young ppl to fulfill the customer service department. You can’t hire ppl flippantly when dealing w/ customers hard earned money. I can’t ever get secure message responses that provide what I ask them for or need. The structure of the statements system has changed. The bank ignores follow up questions about loans. There, in my opinion, are underlying issues to explain the loan decisions & it existed, in my opinion & by experience when it was FKFCU. Did I say member service is awful & many of the employees don’t respect the FACT that no customers means NO JOBS!! Oh yeah, the app malfunctions a lot & always at the MOST inconvenient times.. I’m done as a customer after twenty years!!
