I am truly enjoying Acellus. I have 2 students enrolled. I love the flexiblility and the quality of the lessons given. I have seen a vast improvement with my son who was struggling in school. I realize most schools have to a limited time frame and if your child does not meet the criteria during that allotted time, it affects their grades and they are either held back or in remedial classes. This affects their morale, and can discourage them from trying.I like that the program recognizes the area of struggle while the child is learning, and will not proceed until the child has mastered or grasped a better understanding of the subject. The content is fresh, new, fun and interesting. The teachers have a pleasant and assuring disposition.I also love how easy it is to navigate and no trouble getting to the lessons and resources. I truly believe most children are able to learn and be successful in school. It's just a matter of tailoring the lessons to their individual needs. Most importantly, giving them time to learn.I believe Acellus provides that for my children. Thank you for creating such a wonderful and easy to use program.

Ever since Power School went app only, it’s been disastrous trying to get my son to be able to complete his lessons. When we first started using Acellus a year ago, we had the same problem and Tech Support instructed us to use the website via Chrome, and guess what? No issues. But now that the website is no longer available, the app still does not work well at all. Specifically, his language arts class repeats the teaching videos and does not transition to the questions. I have sat here and replayed a video 7-10 times trying to get it to finally transition with little to no success. And calling and or emailing tech support is no help. I’ve called twice to no support staff answering forcing me to leave voice mails that have yet to be returned. And the contact email I sent through the website resulted in a reply from someone that obviously did not read my email, as it asked for information that I included in the original email to which I pointed out sending a screen shot with highlighted portions showing the information that they requested. I still am waiting on a reply from that. Overall, the app is not fully functional and tech support is useless. It’s truly an act of congress trying to get my son to be able to complete his daily lessons ever since August 11.

I tried to log into the Ocellus website today, but it forced me to instead download the app for my Mac, and I did. I logged in and started doing my schoolwork and everything was going fine. After finishing the first session video that I completed on the new app, it wouldn’t take me to the problems I needed to complete next and stayed on the same screen that the video was playing on. I refreshed the page and it restarted the video over and it’s saying I haven’t completed any steps. Once I finished the video AGAIN, it wouldn’t let me access the problems. I hit the back button to go to the home screen, then hit the class again, AND GUESS WHAT? THE VIDEO STARTED OVER AGAIN! I HAVE WATCHED THE SAME LESSON VIDEO 3 TIMES AND IT STILL SAYS 0 STEPS COMPLETED!!! I know that the Mac app is new and they’re still working out bugs, but there’s nowhere I can go to report a problem on the app and it will no longer let me long into my account on their website; the only way to now access Acellus on laptops/desktops is through the app. The app that doesn’t work. I do have the app on my phone, but I prefer doing my work on my laptop. They desperately need to fix this and they need to fix it now.

I am a 7th grade student of acellus and I am homeschooling. This program is pretty good. I really like how they teach, epecially my favorite teacher, Mr. Rogers. I totally recomend for math, but fo the other stuff, acellus is lame. Science is fine, but so far, it's been teaching me stuff that is hard to memorize. They expect you to memorize the planets just mentioning then once! Also language arts and reading is pretty lame. The cameras are pretty bad too, and it looks like it was filmed a long time ago. The frame is like it was in 2000's, and not like 2022. Also I would apreciate if they left space to work. It is pretty hard to work with the sistem they do, and I guess they just want you to do your work on a seperate paper. It would be better if they had an option of anotating, highlighting, drawing, ect. like IXL. So that is a suggestion I have. Otherwse, acellus is fun, effective, and educational, and I totally recomend it to middle schoolers who are struggling with math. I have a few friends that do acellus too, and they love it too, but one has the same thoughts as me.
